I absolutely could not be more pleased with this CD. The remarkable flair that is totally unique to Elvis is definitely a part of this type of music he loved to perform. This is a great CD. Years ago I had an old LP of Elvis' gospel songs but this collection is so much nicer. My only objection is that a few of the tracks seem to feature more of the backup singers than Elvis himself. When I listen to this I consider what a great voice Elvis had. I can't help but think that he was so much more than just rock 'n roll, screaming fans and mediocre movies. I never was a big Elvis fan. Liked some of his stuff but mostly didn't pay attention. Then I recently heard him sing a gospel song on the radio and bought this CD. The man could really, really sing. Heart and soul...and I am not really a fan of gospel, just good music.
