Free Music Review: Solo effort from Rammstein guitarist rocks with the best!

Getting straight to the point - Emigrate is not simply a Rammstein knock-off album, it's a great rock record. I say "rock" because, despite some heavy guitar riffs, this album is full of catchy tunes which may have some crossover appeal to non-metal fans. Interestingly, the lyrics are sung in english versus Rammstein's nearly exclusive use of german singing. Richard Kruspe has a good singing voice and sounds very comfortable singing in english. Rammstein fans will immediately recognize Richard's powerful guitar playing which keeps this album moving along at an energetic pace. The album artwork is very cool and unnerving.
Try to score a copy soon as I understand there were only 8,000 copies made of the limited version of the album. I bought it used on Amazon because I couldn't even find it in music stores in my area.

Being a Rammstein fan I was very happy that guitarist Richard Kruspe was releasing a solo album. "Emigrate" doesn't disappoint. The music is very well composed and the song themes very thoughtful. The fact that Rammstein sings in their native German language adds to their appeal and makes listeners curious. Richard, who lives part time in NY, sings in English for Emigrate. This gives the album its' distinctive characteristic compared to Rammstein. Listeners will appreciate how well Richard sings in English.
Emigrate is new and fresh and know one will be disappointed!

This is a great begining for Richard Kruspe as a singer!! All his songs are amazing, this is a great album, but I guess he has to creat his own "style" I mean, some of his songs has a lot of Rammstein sounds, of course this is because of his background as a guitar player in Rammstein.
I love his songs, he has a perfect english with that german accent makes the perfect combination!!!
I love that Rammstein is supporting him, making promotion in their page.

Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe stretches his legs and really shows his talent here. Who knew he could play such great guitar solos? I took a chance buying this disc(not having heard any songs) and was blown away at how much I liked it. Not industrial like Rammstein, it still has the riffs that are like a punch to the head. I enjoyed every track. Buy the premium edition with the extra songs, its worth it. Do yourself a favor and GET THIS DISC!Free Music Review: Just BUY IT!

This is a great album! It might take a few listens to grow on you but then you'll be humming Emigrate songs for days....Let Me Break is my favorite! I can't believe Richard Kruspe wrote these songs in English and they turned out this awesome...This guy is really multi-talented. And the guitar riffs on this album are positively addictive... So I totally give Emigrate two thumbs up and 5 stars! Way to go, Emigrate...please tour soon!
