I'm certain that Emily King will hit the mainstream very soon, because talent like hers can't hide in the shadows much longer. I was very impressed by her debut album, one of the few albums I can listen to without feeling the urge to skip songs (though I'm certainly inclined to replay some!). I recently saw Emily perform at a small venue in Washington, DC, where she put on a fantastic show. And she is absolutely adorable and charming in person!Free Music Review: JUST BUY IT!!!

I won't go into great detail about this album as people already have done so (and very well).. Bottom line - I LOVE THIS CD!!! BUY IT!! It's just a shame she hasn't been promoted better! She has a beautiful voice and a nice mix of tracks!
I'm so glad I stumbled on her! I hope she keeps making music like this!!

Emily King first and foremost is one of the BEST since Alicia Keys and Joss Stone who are two of my FAVORITE Female Artist now Emily King is my third. All of her tracks are so soulful and meaning full. I have been listening to her cd every day. She have such a soft voice. i remember her opening for john legend when he came to dallas a year ago. she was awesome... she was very humble and her talent was genuine. as far as her cd, its great. you're listening to real music, so its going to make you feel good
