Free Music Review: Alright Everyone, "Just Lose It'
Hit: 5 Stars

Hmmm... ever since this album came out, practically everyone bitched about it.Some say it was too imature, others think it was a disappointing follow up to the 2002 Eminem classic "The Eminem Show", and a few think he is a racist jackass. Huh, well those are pretty nice things to say about a man that literally came from rags to riches, won like 5 f---ing awards, and decides to end his awesome carrer. Yes, yes "Encore" is not the album I exactly wanted Slim Shady to release, and it seems like all of you realized that too..., but listen to what I have to say.

Em's 4th studio album cover looks great. You have him bowing on a stage, showing that "The Eminem Show" has ended, now is time for the encore. The back say's "Sold Out", which is supposed to mean that the songs are great. The song titles on paper sound great too. "Evil Deeds" sounds like a dark and twisted great opening track, "Yellow Brick Road" has a mysterious touch to it, and "Spend Some Time" looks pretty lovely too, plus features a rapper know one has ever heard of before: "Stat Quo". There are even a few singles you know, that you have seen on MTV a thousand times. The anti-Bush fight song "Mosh", the silly yet "Slim Shadyish" "Just Lose It", the sad and somber, yet powerful "Like Toy Soldiers", and the insanely stupid, yet popular "Ass Like That".

S---, as soon as you pop this disc in your walkman, you might see your hopes go horribly wrong. After the "Curtains Up" skit (which by th way sound's like "Eminem Shows's) is the annoying-not-dark-at-all-stupid-track that is "Evil Deeds" attacks you. The rest doesn't get much better, yeah the singles roll in, but where are the other good songs? "My 1st Single", "Rain Man", and "Big Weenie" only sink this album down the scale. While good songs like "Mockinbird" (which was a later released single), "Never Enough", and title track "Encore" tilt up the falling scale. These 2 sides balance each other out, to reach an average, even scale. The bad doesn't out weigh the good, but the good does not out weigh the bad, yeah its like that. So all you "Encore" haters might think I'm some hypocrite, giving this CD a "5 star", when I just bitched just like you. Well un like you, I love Eminem, that means what ever he does.

Free Music Review: Guess Who's back Eminem's Back back again
Hit: 5 Stars

Very good album. Eminem has many many good songs on this album. They arent dirty like his first 2 albums. i think this is his best album and the second best album that came from Shady Records. I will now review the songs on this album (1 out of 5 is really bad , 5 out of 5 is amazing)

1.Curtains Up: the curtains go up
2.Evil Deeds: a sweet song to start a great album off its kinda weird at the start though (4/5)
3.Never Enough feat.Nate Dogg & 50 Cent: a Short song but a very good and catchy song and of coarse Nate Dogg gives us another amazing chorus(4/5)
4.Yellow Brick Road: Very good song sweet beat and nice lyrics (5/5)
5:Like Toy Soldiers:Awesome song 4th best song on the album(5/5)
6:Mosh:its about how much he hates Bush this song has a very good beat. (4/5)
7:Puke:he raps a "Love-Hate" song to his ex Kim its a pretty good song and its funny at the start. (3/5)
8:My 1st Single:pretty cool song... if this was his first single I don't think he would have sold millions of copies (4/5)
9:Paul: as usual paul calls em (2/5)
10:Rain Man:kind of a stupid its okay i guess. (3/5)
11:Big Weenie: i thik its the worst song on the album.(2/5)
12:Em Calls Paul:its a twist em calls paul... while taking a crap it is the funniest skit i have ever heard, it is halarious (5/5)
13:Just Lose It:We all have heard it and we all love it. (5/5)
14:A** Like That:Good song but not the best.(3/5)
15:Spend Some Time feat. Obie trice,50 Cent & Stat Quo, amazing song second besty song on the album(5/5)
16:Mockingbird:its one of Eminems most emotional songs but we all have heard it a million times and it gets boring after a while. (4/5)
17:Crazy in Love:this is quick paced song about being in love(4/5)
18.One Shot 2 Shot feat. D-12: best collaboration song and funniest song.(5/5)
19.Final Thought:not much to say
20:Encore feat. Dr.Dre & 50 Cent: Amazing song best song on the album but 50 cent only has like 2 lines(5/5)

If you like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, The Game, Obie trice, D12 or Dr.Dre then you should get this album. This album is a must have for any Eminem fan or anyone who really wants to build a collection of amazing cds.

Free Music Review: Em at his Best
Hit: 5 Stars

My Track Ratings 1 (lowest) - 10 (highest)

1. Curtains Up - N/A
2. Evil Deeds - serves purpose as typical Eminem styled track. (6)
3. Never Enough feat. 50 Cent and Nate Dogg - great beat and pace and 50 Cent's verse is actually lyrically not bad.(8)
4. Yellow Brick Road - Interesting song, nice flow.(6)
5. Like Toy Soldiers - Great song. Great beat, excellent lyrics primarily directed at Ja Rule, summed up nicely. (10)
6. Mosh - Interesting song again, nice lyrics. (6)
7. Puke - I like this song. A lot of people find it irritating because it is sung but the lyrics are very funny, consider singing to someone you hate. (8)
8. My 1st Single - Not Em's best. (2)
9. Paul - N/A
10. Rain Man - Oh, one of my favourites. Very funny song, nice beat and flow. (10)
11. Big Weenie - Alright at the best, funny but. (5)
12. Em Calls Paul - N/A
13. Just Lose It - Eminem classic. Excellent beat, lyrics and video. (10)
14. Ass Like That. Gotta be one of my favourite songs on this album. Very funny and nice beat too. (10)
15. Spend Some Time featuring Obie Trice, Stat Quo and 50 Cent - I like this song, except for 50's verse. His lyrics kill the song but otherwise it's far from useless. (8)
16. Mockingbird - My favourite song on the album. Em sings to his daughter and his lyrics are nice. (10)
17. Crazy in Love - An okay song, nothing special. (4)
18. One Shot 2 Shot featuring D12 - not a bad song, i like D12's input, good song. (7)
19. Final Thought - N/A
20. Encore featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent - Excellent song, one of my favourites, crazy - ass beat. (10)

21. We As Americans - I don't think i should comment on such a song, but i guess it's not pathetic therefore: (3)
22. Love You More - I like this one, like Puke, definetly can be related to by someone going though a break up. Nice anger lyrics. (8)
23. Ricky Ticky Toc - Nice beat, flow and lyrics. (7)

Overall this is my favourite album from Eminem. Looking forward to Em's next "Curtain Call" as a collection of this best. Interesting to see how many tracks from Encore will be featured. (9) Get this album if you dont have it.

Free Music Review: People who rated this 1 or 2 stars need to listen more
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great album, but I wasn't feeling that after the first listen. That is because em creates music that grows on you because there is nothing else out there like it. The people who rated this low will ultimately change their minds once they listen to the album enough. A classic eminem at his best, who proves this time around he can rap about nothing and make completely no sense and still be genious.

If you havent listened to em's albums before this I suggest you study those first otherwise you won't understand what he is spitting.
. (Curtains Up - Encore Version)
2. Evil Deeds 4/5
3. Never Enough 4.5/5
4. Yellow Brick Road 5.5/5 best storyteller
5. Like Toy Soldiers 6.5/5 good boy eminem
6. Mosh 6/5
7. Puke 4/5
8. My 1st Single 4/5
9. Paul [Skit]
10. Rain Man 5/5 grows on you, fat beat (original)
11. Big Weenie 4.5/5
12. Em Calls Paul [Skit]
13. Just Lose It 5/5
14. Ass Like That 5/5
15. Spend More Time 5.5/5 great song
16. Mockingbird 7/5 the best
17. Crazy In Love 6/5 how did he do that?
18. One Shot 2 Shot 4/5
19. Final Thought [Skit]
20. Encore/Curtains Down 5/5 classic west coast beats

In other words listen to the album, it will grow on you and you'll love it. Like he says in the album let him take you on a journey and hypnotize you, if you are resistant than you must be a republican bush fan. Because em lets everyone know on "Mosh" if he had to snipe you know who it would be tonight. Lyrically untouchable, this album will be in your cd player until everyone else hates you. He even talks about getting dre to do another album in the last track, look for "detox" by dre coming out in the next couple of years. Em poses as triumph the insult dogg, talks about jojo, jessica simpson, hilary duff, and heck even arnold makes a guest appearance screaming "get down!!!" Which is what everyone should be doing, getting on their knees and worshipping this album for what it is. GREAT!!!
