Free Music Review: Awesome, a Classic
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the only CD I have of Eminem, so I can't say it's his best work. I have a few songs off The Marshall Mathers LP, but I actually skip most. This CD is a straight up classic. No song gets a skip, except Without Me and Business, which get annoying after a couple listens. The rest of the CD is amazing. From the beats to the lyrics, anyway you look at it, it's a classic. Just song after song after song.

Some of the best are "White America" which has him rapping about the critics, and his skin color, he's saying if he was black he would've sold half. "Cleaning out My Closet" is a great song, with him rapping about his mom and some faults through his career. "Square Dance" is awesome with some really great lyrics. The first verse he's basicly saying he's back, and the second he's talking about how people laugh till they get drafted and get a napkin full of anthrax and now they have to fight for their country. "The Kiss" is the only skit I listen to, it has dialogue between Em and another dude named Gary, Em plays around and says He's gonna kill Kim put he's just playing, and then he sees Kim kissing another guy and starts to run at them. "Soldier" is good, with fast paced rhyming, and a nice beat to match. "Say Goodbye to Hollywood" is a classic song, And Em talks about his problems in life and being a father and how all his problems stack up so he needs a break. "Drips" is funny with Obie Trice, and he supposedly get Eminem's girlfriend in bed, and doesn't use protection, and Em figures out she's pregnant and tries to beat her. "Sing For The Moment" and "Superman" are both great lyrically, but you probably heard both by now anyway. "Hailie's Song" is good because he tries to sing and even admits he can't but tries to anyway. It's a very emotional song stating that he's happy now his daughter is back. "When the Music Stops" is okay with D-12, but it's kinda boring, but it's still good lyrically, there rapping about the difference between music and reality. "say What You Say" is cool, Em and Dre rip Jermaine Dupri to pieces with every word. "Till I Collapse" is the best song on the entire album, and probably one of the best songs in history. Nate Dogg makes it just that much better rapping the chorus. "My Dad's Gone CRazy" sounds humerous at first, but then it gets serious during the third verse.

"Business" is good and all, but it's humerous and can get annoying and doesn't fit right with White America before it and Cleaning out My Closet right after it. "Without Me" is okay, but it's played out because that's all the radio played when it first came out, and now it's too old to listen to.

If you haven't got this yet, I highly recommend it. I always knew Eminem was a good rapper, But I never knew he was this good. He's definatly one of the best rappers in history. If you haven't got this already, which I doubt, You need to get it now!

Free Music Review: This IS a job for Em...
Hit: 5 Stars

Now i kno that i am a serious eminem fan, but the cd is still good. great. with a flaw or two. you should go out and buy it. i'll go song-by-song

Curtains Up (Intro) (7/10): I gave it a 7 because it ties good with...

White America (9/10): "AMERICA!!, WE LOVE YOU," Em brings you into the world for a rising white rap star & his hatrid for "hahahaha, i'm just playin america"

Business (3/10): 3rd worst on the album. yea its kinda funny but hu cares? it does nothing for the album

Cleanin' Out My Closet (9/10): Great! Em sucks you into what his mom was like to him. with a nice chorus. a meaning to the song, a good one.

Square Dance (6/10): I don't REALLY like this one. but i will listen to it occasionally. don't count on it as a smash hit.

The Kiss (Skit) (8/10): Shows how Em was arrested. he tries to "kill this b*tch". the music carries right through to...

Soldier (2/10): [stinks]. PERIOD.

Say Goodbye Hollywood (1/10): THE WORST ON THE ENTIRE ALBUM!

Drips (feat. Obie Trice) (8/10): Yes, it was taken off the clean version. no wonder why. every other word out of Obie Trice's mouth is sexually related. the chorus is great, so is Em's verse. (oh yeah, the whole song is ABOUT sex)

Without Me (5/10): It's not as good as it was. it was a hit for a while, but you cant count on it being great forever. it gets boring.

Paul Rosenberg (6/10): I can't say anything. "em, its paul, listen, joel just called me and..."

Sing for the Moment (10/10): Ahhhh. an Aerosmith "Dream On" sample. the entire song blows almost the rest away except for...

Superman (feat. Dina Rae)(11/10)(yes, i kno thats more than 10): Boo-yah!! another Dina Rae song. the track 13 girl. another, less explicit sex song... "i no u want me baby, u no i want u too..."

Hailie's Song (7/10): A song dedicated to his daughter. half the song is sung. he didnt wanna put this song out, and it really wouldn't have made a difference. BUT-it does give some relief to all the anger.

Steve Berman (9/10): More b*tchin from steve when... BANG!!! he's FINALLY SHOT!!! hahahahahaha

When the Music Stops (feat D-12)(7/10): D-12 does nicely here and thank god there was none of that usual sh*t from Bizarre. the lack of chorus kinda sucks but, WHATEVER!

Say What You Say (feat Dr. Dre)(8/10): They "handle the small sh*t". and do a nice job. the crashing beat is great!!

'Till I Collapse (feat. Nate Dogg)(10/10): Another 10! This Queen-enhanced beat is great. and Nate Dogg never fails wit puttin dat great chorus in.

My Dad's Gone Crazy (feat. Hailie Jade)(8/10): Hahaha. no Em's dad hasn't gone crazy. hailie's dad did. Marsh & Hailie are so funny with this song. Hailie brings comedy to every song she is put in.

Curtains Close (8/10): The rumors. the speculation. but nothing. no Ken Kaniff. wait... isnt that... KEN KANIFF IS BACK BABY. "guess whos back? back again, Ken is back, tell some men, rub my back, rub my back, rub my back, rub my back..."

There you have it. THE EMINEM SHOW. PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER.

Free Music Review: GUESS WHO'S BACK...
Hit: 5 Stars

BACK AGAIN! SHADY'S BACK! TELL A FRIEND! Eminem fans across the globe will be delighted to hear that Eminem is more popular than ever. Though the cussing hasn't disappeared from his music, the talented rapper continues to put out music that (most) people can appreciate. What is so special about him is that he tells things that are true, even the ones we would rather not hear. His content is more controversial than ever with the decidedly unpatriotic and angering record "White America" to the softly sung ode to his daughter, "Hailie's Song". It just shows that the man is full of vastly different emotions and thoughts. The rhymes have improved since his last album, the famous Marshall Mathers LP. The beats are good for the most part, though some beats are tiring. The only problem with this album is that he talks way too much about his daughter. I think we all get the picture, and he doesn't need to clarify the fact that he loves his daughter so much. It just gets annoying after a while. Other than that, I'm sure that this album will continue to be heard until he puts out another album.

Curtains Up- Introduction with Eminem walking up to the stage.

White America- Unpatriotic, but despairingly true. Eminem disses Ms. Cheney, Tipper Gore, and America in general.

Business- Okay, featuring Dr. Dre. First part of song deals with Eminem's recent fantasy of Batman and Robin.

Cleaning Out My Closet- Another song about dissing his mother and family problems.

Square Dance- Stupid, gets on your nerves quickly.

The Kiss (skit)- Vaguely re-enacts Eminem's arrest for pistol whipping Kim's lover.

Soldier- Violent, shows Eminem's gangsta side.

Say Goodbye to Hollywood- Okay. Chorus is stupid.

Drips- So-so. Featuring Obie Trice. Deals with women.

Without Me- I think everybody has heard this one. Eminem bashes Limp Bizkit, Moby, his mom, Elvis fans, and Chris Kierpatrick.

Paul Rosenberg (skit)- Paul, Eminem's legal advisor, asks Eminem not to carry his gun.

Sing For The Moment- Song about Eminem's fans. Very insightful.

Superman- Sequel to Drug Ballad on MMLP. About Eminem's view of women, no that he's not married anymore.

Hailie's Song- I think we can figure out what this song is about. Eminem admits he can't sing, then attemps to do it anyway. The most conservative song on the album.

Steve Berman (skit)- Funny. Eminem shoots Berman, thinking that he is angry about the album (again).

When The Music Stops- Deals with the responsibilities of a music artist. Featuring D12.

Say What You Say- Jermaine Dupri diss. Featuring Dr. Dre.

'Till I Collapse- Eminem sums up the album. One of the best songs on the album. Featuring Nate Dogg, who does a good job with the chorus.

My Dad's Gone Crazy- Conclusion of the album. Eminem mentions September 11 for the first time. Featuring Hailie Jade (sigh).

Curtains Close- Hilarious. Ken Kaniff makes his first appearance on the album. The only song that has to do with homosexuality on the album.

Free Music Review: Eminem is back, in a excellent way.
Hit: 5 Stars

Eminem is back with his thirld major and fifth solo album "The Eminem Show." He handles most of the production on the album, but Dre is producing 3 tracks on the album. When I first heard it i thought it was a great comeback from the grammy winning "The Marshall Mathers LP" i am a rap fan i've loved rap since i heard it when i was born. And i will have to say that Eminem is probably the best lyricist alive today. Eminem raps about what is going on in the world right now. The war on terrorism, and some disses on people. like is long beef with rapper Cannibus, Nsync member Chris Kirkpatrick, techo artist Moby, and he Dre get on producer Jermaine Dupri on "Say What You Say," the standout track is "Cleanin Out My Closet" where he gets alot off of his chest about his mother.

1. Curtains up (skit) * - it wasn't realy needed.
2. White America ... - one of the best song on the album. where he raps about is freedom of speech fair to everyone, and if he wasnt white he wouldn't be so successful.
3. Business ... - He raps about that rap hasn't been the same without him.
4. Cleanin Out My Closet ... - The standout track, and my second best song on the album. where he raps about his mother in a non dissing way.
5. Square Dance ... - a great song. he disses Canibus on this song and gives props to Nas and Dre.
6. The Kiss (Skit) ... - Hilarious skit where he puts a funny take on what happen the night when he say his wife kissing a bouncer.
7. Solider ... - A great song.
8. Say Goodbye Hollywood *** - Didn't really like the song, but the beat is good.
9. Drips (featuring Obie Trice) ... - The worst song on the whole album.
10. Without Me ... - The first single where he raps about how the music and entertainment industry hasnt been the same without him.
11. Paul Rosenberg (skit) ... - a skit where his manager tells him to stop carrying his gun.
12. Sing For The Moment... - My favorite song on the whole album. and it is so true. he raps about white kids and familys being affected by rap and how kids look up to rappers and idolize them. it also carrys the hook from "Dream On" by Aerosmith.
13. Superman (featuring Dina Rae) ... - a funny song.
14. Hailie's Song ... - He "sings" for and about his daughter, one of the nicest songs i've ever heard.
15. Steve Berman (skit) - ... - Eminem finally gets fed up with steve talkin s... about his albums.
16. When The Music Stops (featuring D-12) ***** - A really good and funny song.
17. Say What You Say (featuring Dr. Dre) ... - A great song where Eminem and Dre get on Jermaine Dupri and at the end so does Timbaland.
18. Till I Collapse (featuring Nate Dogg) ... - My third favorite song on the album with a great beat, and it's Eminem at his best.
19. My Dad's Gone Crazy (featuring Hailie Jade Mathers) ... - I think this is a really nice song where he put his daughter on.
20. Curtains Close (skit) ... - really didn't need it.

Free Music Review: 3 Times In A Row
Hit: 5 Stars

Eminem has established himself as a household name, and probably the most well-known rap artist of his generation. He has produced 3 multi-platinum CDs in 4 years and has released over a dozen singles. His lyrics are amazing, and his production is nearly flawless. His nasal flow has worked its way into nearly all of America's ears. All of his CDs are non-fast-forward works of brilliant art, and this is no exception. I love Eminem, and this is a great album from him. I reccomend it to everyone, not just because of its brilliance, but also because it can be enjoyed but almost everyone as long as you don't mind cursing and some downright disgusting lyrics.

Here's my track-by-tracj analysis:
1. "Curtains Up" - It's just an intro, not as entertaining as the other 2.

2. "White America" (5/5) - An angry song with a cool video. Great with good lyrics and a hard beat. Gets tired after too many listens though.

3. "Business" (5/5) - Great song, upbeat fast paced beat and great lyrics.

4. "Cleanin Out My Closet" (5/5) - Heartfelt, good song. Really enjoyed it. Good video also.

5. "Square Dance" (4/5) - Upbeat, good lyrics. Anti-Bush but whatever. Took a few listens to get used to though.

6. "The Kiss" - Skit, not as good as others I've heard from Eminem.

7. "Soldier" (5/5) - Hard song, great. Pretty good lyrics also.

8. "Say Goodbye To Hollywood" (5/5) - Great at first, gets a little annoying after awhile though.

9. "Drips" (4/5) - Annoying at first, but gets better after some listens. Good although nasty lyrics.

10. "Without Me" (4/5) - Great upbeat song, funny and good lyrics. Loses a point because it was overplayed.

11. "Paul Rosenberg" - Another below average skit.

12. "Sing For The Moment" (5/5) - Amazing song, phenomenal lyrics. Great chorus by Aerosmith, "Dream On" is a great song. Yet another single.

13. "Superman" (5/5) - Takes a few listens to get used to, but an upbeat song. Good, I liked it. Good video though, i saw the uncensored version on my 8 Mile DVD.

14. "Hailie's Song' (5/5) - Heartfelt, a little overplayed on the radio though. I really liked it thought, good lyrics, although Eminem is not a very good singer.

15. "Steve Berman" - Eminem really didn't do a good job on the skits with this album, I liked the others from his older albums.

16. "When The Music Stops" (5/5) - Good song, great verse by Eminem.

17. "Say What You Say" (5/5) - Another great song, especcially lyric wise.

18. "Til I Collapse" (5/5) - Good song with a great Nate Dogg chorus.

19. "My Dad's Gone Crazy" (4/5) - Great lyrics, takes a little bit to get used to though.

20. "Curtains Close" - The outro, not good.

Overall, I felt that this was another phenomanal effort by Eminem, a great record. A lot of hits too, "White America", "Cleanin Out My Closet", "Without Me", "Sing For The Moment", "Superman", "Hailie's Song", "My Dad's Gone Crazy", there might have been some more or less.
