Free Music Notes for A PosterioriFree Music Review: New and exciting! Hit: 5 Stars
I have to say I have been an Enigma fan for a long time, and after buying
A Posteriori it only keeps me wanting more Enigma. Each Album is different which makes them so important and unique. They are able to satisfy whatever mood I am in, its pure and perfect. A Posteriori is unlike the others, there are new sounds that come alive every time I listen to it. The sound of classic Enigma, to the Modern day voice of Enigma are heard throughout every song. I promise you that you will not be disappointed with what is offered to you, when you open mind, body, and spirit to A Posteriori.
If you are an Enigma fan then you will love this album, its different, its exciting and its an addition to a collection that will last forever.
Free Music Review: Goodbye Milky Way, Goodbye Denita Hit: 5 Stars
I purchased this CD not long after its release. I always enjoyed it, but the last song, "Goodbye Milky Way" has come to be a bittersweet experience for me. My wife Denita passed away on May 26, 2007. As she requested, I scattered her ashes in front of the beach condo we used to rent in Fort Fisher, NC. I remember it was about 2:30 AM and a full moon was shining down on the water. And as I drove back to my motel I turned on the CD player: "Goodbye Milky Way" started to play. When I heard the words "Goodbye Milky Way" all I could hear was "Goodbye Denita." Every time I hear it I have to choke back a tear. Thank you, Enigma.
Goodbye Milky Way. Goodbye Denita. I love you.
Free Music Review: Great album! Nothing short of "The Enigma Sound" we love! Hit: 5 Stars
I give this album 5 stars because the songs are varied enough that they contain all the elements we love about Enigma. Slow, Medium, and Fast electronic/melodic music. This should have been the follow up in 2003 instead of Voyager. I love Voyager but most traditional Enigma fans couldn't get used to the pop-style on some of the tracks. This would have pleased them more. Voayger, IMHO, is ahead of its time.
In my opinion 1996's "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!" is still the best Enigma album, but this one is still a top-notch album with many great songs. I wish the original version of "Hello! And Welcome" was on here instead of the non-vocal version.
Free Music Review: change of heart..... Hit: 5 Stars
I gave this album a rather harsh review after only having listened to it several times, but after putting on the headphones and drifting into that limbo between consciousness and sleep, I discovered how lovely this album is. Don't compare it to the previous works- it's very different, but still very much Enigma. It's an album that really benefits from headphones, because only then can can you pick up the subtleties and complexity of the composition, which at first may seem very simple. At first, there seems to be little distinction between the songs, but this also changes after repeat listenings. It's a great trance album and a great Enigma album. Give it a chance.
Free Music Review: *_ENIGMA Hit: 5 Stars
Yet another journey from the enigma himself. Like every album, this one is unique and has a mind of it's own with of course the enigmatic flair. I can vividly imagine the celestial images when hearing it, and loving the layered and airy feel I constantly have it on replay. My favorite songs are; Eppur Si Muove, Feel Me Heaven, Dancing With Mephisto, Invisible Love, 20,000 Miles Over the Sea, Sitting on the Moon & Goodbye Milky Way. I gave this album 5 stars because of this man's incredible talent! He deserves it. Enigma has been my favorite since they started, because he gave me something to believe in.
