Free Music Notes for A PosterioriFree Music Review: Very good, but not with Jens Gad signature Hit: 5 Stars
I'd strongly recommend this - especially in light of the voyageur disappointment - its very different, mostly because Jens Gads signature samples and soundscapes are not so dominant, but its clearly still Enigma - Sitting on the Moon is a really nice piece of work, followed closely by Dreaming of Andromeda and The Alchemist - if you're just looking for more stuff like the old Enigma you may be disappointed, but I'm happy to say I think this shows some real growth - can't wait to see what comes next
Free Music Review: Great Enigma Album!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I think this happens to anyone here, it feels dissapointing at the first listen.....but after listen for a few times, I find this album as great as other Enigma album is....somebody here will say it is repetitive, but after listen it for a few times, I find this album is so rich in layers and soundscape, this album must be listen with good headphones!!!!My favourite songs are "Dancing With Mephisto", "Dreaming Of Andromeda", "Feel Me Heaven", "20,000 Miles Over The Sea". Thumbs up for Cretu!!!!
Free Music Review: Nice recovery from the poor Voyageur album... Hit: 5 Stars
As I listened to this CD, I wondered how the same person responsible for Voyageur could have produced this. Almost every track on A Posteriori is interesting, high-quality stuff that I would expect from a master like Cretu. The sound has evolved into more of a trance-electronica one than on the earlier albums, but it still has the intangible essence of Enigma written all over it. The album has a new sound, but at the same time it stays true to its roots. Well worth your time and money.
Free Music Review: I love it!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I have been waiting for this album since I heard of its future release in May of this year. To be honest I was extremely skeptical when I first heard the single. However when the album was release I was like wth ya know? So I bought it and I haven't stopped listening to it since. This album is very good; the direction I could almost foresee evolving from Screen Behind the Mirror. If you like new age/electronica (and Enigma of course) then this is a great album for you.
Free Music Review: Big, nocturnal rhythms Hit: 5 Stars
Enigma continues to be original and high quality. Producer Michael Cretu expands his epic sound with an album that's more abstract and electronic than its predecessors, and seems more sinister in tone. Intense synthesizers and slow, deep rhythms occupy the beginning of the album, with memorable lyrics in the last half. Tracks three and four must be Enigma's most forboding yet. Enigma blends the industrial / electrical with the ghostly like I've never heard before.
