Free Music Notes for Enigma 3: Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!

Free Music Review: Personal Favorite of Enigma
Hit: 5 Stars

A signature trademark of Enigma's music is the way in which the songs flow together from track to track. The Enigma3 album really stands out as being the one which 'flows' the best. I don't mean to imply that the velocity is consistent throughout the entire album. It definitely goes up and down, bringing us to it's final climax by track number 10, and then into a very moving last song. This album feels like Enigma's most spiritual in comparison to it's counterparts. A wonderful vibe is attained. It's my favorite Enigma album. I've had it since it's release and I still play it today.

Free Music Review: Another etheral Cretu classic
Hit: 5 Stars

This album continues the feeling of the first two, combining haunting ambient music elements with great lyrics and vocals in many languages. It's incredible road music for a good sunset or a blue sky day with puffy clouds and spectacular landscapes, the album has a very elemental feel to it, it allows me to connect the joys of good music to the power of the cosmic which we all exist within, yet don't see. The Sanskrit song sung by Sandra Cretu is absolutely haunting, the west gets so little exposure to eastern languages in a setting as striking as this.

Free Music Review: Wonderful "anytime" listening music
Hit: 5 Stars

I agree with some of the previous comments that this is the best album so far. The "Cross Of Changes" had about 6 good tracks on it and then it seemed to run out of steam. This album has some great tracks and the music keeps going on till the last track. They are all wonderful and I never get "tired" of listening to this album over and over again. If anyone is considering buying an "Enigma" album, I would highly recommend buying this one first. The more you listen to the album the more you will grow to like it.

Free Music Review: wonderful!
Hit: 5 Stars

I hesitated buying this album since the only thing I heard from Enigma were the 2 tracks on the Pure Moods CD (I see a lot of people use this CD as a reference for "New Age" music) Happily, it was what I expected - the songs are catchy enough to be recognized immediately and different enough to be intriguing. The CD as a whole sort of reminds me of the 80's kind of Brit/Pop sound (not too much though) even though it seems to be one of their later works. I ordered all the rest of Enigma CD's - hopefully they're as good as this one.

Free Music Review: The Third One
Hit: 5 Stars

I've got all four albums of Enigma. "Le Roi.." is for me a passage between "The Cross.." (E2)and "The Screen.."(E4) - compare the cover! It's a bit different than other ones, but not worse. I use it when I am depressed and it helps, really (especially "Prism of life"). Well, I am not sure why I like Enigma so much, but ther is something in this music. The best way to feel it is to listen them one by one, and it's what I often do. E3 is a part of series and, for me, is best with other ones.
