This latest effort from Enigma is, in my opinion, on par with Enigma 3. Simply breath taking. I have been listening to this on my iPod around campus for the last 12 hours and all I can say is that I cam thoroughly impressed. Same Parents has one of the coolest messages and the song itself certainly expresses the melancholy found in the lyrics. Overall, the album is amazing. Same Parents, however, particularly stood out for me just because of the message. I would have to concede in that, this album has become my new fav from Enigma. It does not disappoint. I have been a fan of Enigma since the very first album so many years ago. Enigma has a sound unlike any other. And while I miss the trademark flutes of the first couple of albums, this new release will leave you breathless. Enigma has again captured a new sound that renders the sound unique and inspiring. Great music. Great price.
If you are contemplating the 1 CD version over the 2 CD, don't hesitate - grab the 2 CD version. The 2nd CD contains additional music that is a bit more raw than the first but still excellent.

Jeez, everyone wants Sadeness and Return To Innocence all the time! Well listen to them and let the bias go! Yes, it was a magical time then. How many "artists" junped on the bandwagon and went so far as to even steal the Enigma beat?! (Delerium, anyone?) This is the Cretu we have all loved and needed for 18yrs now. This is simply the best Enigma (or anything like it) product in years! True fans rejoice! Cretu is still the Father of our most beloved music. Buy it! Remember Enigma 3? This the 7th Enigma album that Michael Cretu has created. It's really a fresh and gorgeous album. It has some elements that will remind you of the old Enigma sound, like heavy breathing, chants, etc
The special edition which is a 2 disc set gives 5 wonderful sounding songs which did not make the album cut.
All in all another well made Enigma album destined to be enjoyed for the new few years to come until Enigma 8.

I am not going to get technical nor compare this to any other Enigma album. I just want to say that I loved it the moment I heard and it cant stop playing it..
It is shaping up to be easily my favourite since MCMXII...
Je T'aime till my dying day and Deja Vu are my current stand out faves.
An absolute must by for all Enigma fans.
