This new CD is a gem in the crown of this beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. I never tire of her CD's that I have had for years and this is a VERY welcome addition to that collection. This CD is wonderful from the first track to the last and my favorite on it is "If I could be where you are". But then, it is difficult to pick a favorite from this CD. They all shine. If you have ever liked any music that is Celtic or any music that Enya has done in the past, buy this CD!! Even for the average music lover this is one of the best, if not the best CD's just out on the market. The "Amarantine" flower is a good metaphor for Enya's music, which seems to blossom eternally, and especially now. This new album brings the best from Enya: it is melodical, moving and touching, more than ever. The title song is truly addicting, and my other favorites are the emotional "If I Could Be Where You Are" and "Sumiregusa", the upbeat "Somebody Said Goodbye" and the instrumental "Drifting", to name a few.
And one final favorite of mine: if you like Enya's music, you will love Arye Geiman, a very romantic composer, whose music really awakens your imagination. You can listen to it at the "CDbaby com" website.

Although Amarantine is similar to her previous CDs in style and format, Amarantine is another excellent piece of work from Enya. Enya "still has it" in the sense that her voice is still very beautiful, but her music on this album is repetitious to her previous CDs. I would definitely call this CD an Easy Listening CD. All tracks are beautiful and well done, although you find yourself saying, "Haven't I heard this before". Amarantine will be listened to many times, if you are an Enya fan, and enjoyed evertime. I like every track on Amarantine and I recommend the CD to every Enya Fan, but don't expect anything new.Free Music Review: Amazing amazing amazing!

I am a 19 year old astrologist/tarot reader in training, but have never enjoyed New Age Music that usually accompanies such spiritual meditations. I saw a commercial for her CD on TV and decided to give it a try, and I am ever so glad I did! I turned on the music, and LITTERALLY DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THE ENTIRE CD WAS DONE - I sat there and listened to it ALL! The music is THAT amazing! Her voice is amazing, the songs are of such happiness and sorrow, absolutely amazing! I am speechless when it comes to this CD... considering I love my dance music and hiphop! I encourage ANYONE to try this CD, you will love it!Free Music Review: Love this CD, a must have!!!

I have been a Enya fan since a Day without rain. After that I bought Paint the Sky with Stars and the "Enya Collection" (I did not have the other cds so this was a great idea for me).
I bought Amarantine the same day it was on sale and I hear it everytime, I love it!!! In my opinion this is her best work yet.
I am very happy with this work. "It's in the rain" and "Long Long Journey" are very Enya style and my favorites. The new language, Loxian is amazing and The River Sings proved that she can sing "dance" songs.
I highly recommend Amarantine, you will not going to regret it.
