Free Music Review: Enya - the everlasting flower

The "Amarantine" flower is a good metaphor for Enya's music, which seems to blossom eternally, and especially now. This new album brings the best from Enya: it is melodical, moving and touching, more than ever. The title song is truly addicting, and my other favorites are the emotional "If I Could Be Where You Are" and "Sumiregusa", the upbeat "Somebody Said Goodbye" and the instrumental "Drifting".
And one final favorite of mine: if you like Enya's music, you will love Arye Geiman, a very romantic composer, whose music really awakens your imagination. You can listen to it at the "CDbaby com" website.

Enya is one of those artists that inspire polor opposite reactions in people. I love her music and this cd in particular is my favorite since Shepherd Moons. I didn't care for A Day Without Rain's too samey-sounding tracks and Memory of Trees prior to that was okay with several beautiful tunes (Once you had Gold is outstanding. This recording has many beautiful moments and not a bad cut to be found. Beware Enya haters! You will find nothing hear to enjoy! I thought i heard it all till I read the review here compating her to Charles Manson! I'm so happy that Enya has released a new album. I've been waiting forever. Amarantine is a well put together album. I don't think there's one bad song on hear. I bought this album the first day it came out and I love it too death. "Less that a Pearl", is very beautiful song. The title track is also great. "It's in the Rain", and "Long, Long Journey" are great. Actually the whole album is great. I can't pick my favorite ones becuase I like all of them. Well done Enya. Only next time have some more tracks on here. I don't want to have to wait another five years just to get tweleve songs.Free Music Review: Excellent

This is Enya's best album since the 1980's Watermark, and a much better effort than A Day Without Rain. Every one of her songs in the album adds something unique and special to the overall musical experience. A listener can easily tell that Enya, Roma Ryan and Nicky Ryan spent a lot of time and energy writing the music and lyrics. It wasn't just produced overnight like some albums out today. Although it doesn't really have a breakout song like Only Time, every song is very strong on its own, and much stronger than of those on her last album. A great, great buy!!
