If you like Enya, You will lovewhite is in the winter night. It is at once joyous, balanced and pleasant. Most of the music on this cd is standard enya but white is in the winter night really stands out from the usual holiday fare put out by other artists. the lyrics to white is in the winter night are both charming and memorable. the are easy to memorize because they are filled with so many wonderful images and Ifind myself humming them all the time. So much of Enya's music matches the human heartbeat which is why it is so calming. The instruments that accompany white is in the winter night, violins and cello blend in beautifuuly with enya's crystal clear and enchanting vocals. all in all a realy beautiful CD. ll inFree Music Review: If you like Enya just order the CD and skip the reviews

It's pointless to review music CDs as any other piece of arts because I have regretted buying many music CDs reading good reviews written by others as much as I have enjoyed watching movies that had very poor reviews. If you loved previous Enya CDs, you know you'll get this one so don't bother reading any reviews. Buying a piece of art is not like shopping for a car or looking for a vacation resort. Taste is something you can't share with others; either you like it or you don't. This is the same reason why you shouldn't pay attention what Zagat says about restaurants.
If you're already Enya's fan just get the CD; if you're new to her music I really hope you enjoy listening her sounds.

... but how should I rate it?
I realize this is Enya just after some first notes of a song.
I can't predict what's next in the melodies.
I can memorize each song after just one listen.
Should I call it "more of the same"?
Some friends of mine, who are not Enya fans and did not like Amarantine, like this a lot.
Should I call it "for fans only"?
After listening to the whole album for quite some time now I'd say And Winter Came has melodies even more refreshing than Amarantine. Enya's strongest album might be another one, I admit.
But should I lower the rating for this one if I gave that one 5 stars?
Of course not.
Free Music Review: Excellent For Any Season

Again, my wife and I enjoy yet the latest of Enya's music. So, if you like Enya, you'll like this CD. The music doesn't have a Christmas feel to it per se, however, the lyrics in some of the songs are obviously about Jesus. The melody of the music is typical Enya and perfect for any season, not just Christmas. The last song of the CD is obviously Silent Night, but that's the exception. And oh, a bit of a surprise, the first time we've heard Enya use an electric guitar in one of her songs.
Amazon once again came through and had this to us on the 11th of November 2008 as promised. We're thrilled with the price and awesome as usual delivery of Amazon. Thank you!
Free Music Review: Another beautiful cd from my favorite artist.....

I was so beyond excited when I heard that Enya had a new cd coming out, and to top it off, a Christmas cd. I bought it today on my lunch hour and enjoyed listening to it at work. She brings peace into all of our crazy, hectic lives with her calming, therapeutic melodies. She has always been my absolute favorite artist. Every song on this cd is wonderful. I have heard the first and last tracks on this cd before; they're on two separate import singles which I own many of. They sounded slightly different; more vocals, and just as gorgeous, if not better. I highly recommend this cd to all of the huge Enya fans out there... perfect for the holidays, or whenever! : )
