...but she's not done yet! This CD showcases most of the best of Enya through her first decade. All her hits are here, such as the famous "Orinoco Flow", the brilliant follow up "Caribbean Blue", the "Far and Away" theme "Book Of Days", and her new single, the fabulous "Only If...". It's safe to say there are no duds on this disc, only an hour of pure listening enjoyment. Along with the 14 old tracks, Enya includes two new tracks for your listening pleasure. "Only If..." sounds like it will become a pop-standard, with interesting use of time signatures and a bridge in French. The string arrangements and vocal harmonies sound similar to her other big hits, "Orinoco Flow" and "Anywhere Is", but there is enough of a difference to make this track stand out. "Paint The Sky With Stars", the other new track, is a beautiful ballad, which is best enjoyed under a clear night sky staring up at the billions of stars that surround our planet. Recommended for both Enya fans and CD-buyers looking for something different than the typical pop fare out there now.Free Music Review: No artist better evokes the spirituality of this age...

I pity the very few reviewers who speak so negatively of this album. Given the rest of what they say and how they say it, the fault lies not with Enya, but with themselves. (Did it ever occur to the reviewer at EW that the title track might *intentionally* be like a lullaby?)My title says it all. Enya's music expresses the New Age spirituality of our time as the music of no one else does -- not even the richer and more complex music of Loreena McKennitt. That doesn't mean I think the spirituality of this age is an unmixed blessing; far from it. It means that I recognize an artist who is in tune with the world when I hear one. Enya is one of those artists. That is why she is as beloved (and sometimes as villified) as she is.
If you buy no other Enya album, buy this one. It summarizes her art as nothing else can, and it is a joy to listen to besides. (I play it more than any other album in my collection, save "La musique de la Bible revelee", "Celtic Harpestry", and a few others.)

I have listened to 95% of all the styles exhibited in the music industry and of them all, ENYA sparkles above the rest. This is dignified, mature, sophisticated music that anyone with a trained ear can most certainly detect and appreciate. Her voice is disguised within layered music with sweeping patterns and beautiful spiritual harmonies that repair what ails the soul. It is as if GOD himself brought Nick, Roma and ENYA (I'll forgo the actual spelling) together to show what a glimpse of Heaven feels like. For those who gave 1 Star, I do not feel anger, but pity, because you really don't understand what REAL music is. I am not saying that she should be everybody's FAVORITE artist, but give credit were it is certainly due. You people probably never really even listened to the CD, but would rather get your highs on false "drug-music"...how disheartening that is !!...To all ENYA Fans ....Your lives are all very remarkable and GOD BLESS..Free Music Review: Beautiful Soothing Music

This is my first album of os the newage sondstress Enya. When i first heard of Enya i heard Orinoco Flow and i did not like ti at all i thought that it was really weird and just bad overall. But when i listened to it many times last year i started to gain a new respect for her music. Now i love Enya her crisp and haunting evocations are very soothing. But what track i like the most is Only If which puts me in a happy mood. The Celts is very relaxing music. Have you ever had a very stressful day at work and want to calm down i would listen to Enya because her beautiful music up lifts the mind and body and sooths the soul. I listen to it when i am feeling very angry or strssed out i turn to Enya and every time i am transported to a beautiful landscape that is so peaceful and stress free that you will not want to leave. So the next time you are feeling very angry or stressed listen to Enya and let your problems "Sail away with the Orinoco Flow.Free Music Review: Great Compilation

Few people tend to realize the unparalled talent that Enya and her team have. This compilation seeks to remedy that situation, however. A collection Enya's "best" songs, newcomers to Enya will no doubt be taken aback by the sheer magnificence and beauty of Enya's work, both vocally and musically. Enya's music is one of a kind, and this compilation boldly shows that, incorporating songs from all of Enya's acclaimed albums, while also giving the listener a chance to hear two new songs by this amazing artist, 'Only If' and the title track, 'Paint The Sky With Stars'. Both of these songs quite ably showcase Enya's talent and are sufficient reason to by the album, even without the magnificent selection of other work also on the compilation.This is a must-have for any newcomer to Enya, as well as for seasoned fans who just want more and more - kind of like me. I don't think it's possible to be disappointed by this collection. I certainly wasn't.
