Well, Erasure's CD "Abba-esque" is one of the best of these Abba homages. This CD contains Erasure's versions of 4 of Abba's most recognizable songs: "Lay All Your Love on Me," "S.O.S.," "Take a Chance on Me," and "Voulez-Vous." For anyone who loves Erasure's style, this is a must-have CD. You can really tell that Erasure respects and admires ABBA; Erasure brings a lot of energy to ABBA's hits. Back in the '80s, I had to turn up the radio every time Erasure came on. If you get this CD, you'll want to turn up the volume yourself. Oh Lord! Help me. This EP is an example of a dream come true. Mix the best of the best dance tracks, revisited by Erasure and you've got one of the best dance albums to date.
Don't be lonely, purchase this EP. You'll dig it.
The ONLY missing item here: "Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)". Alas, this track can be found on some pressings.

The happiest marrage of the best of 70's and 80's POP. If you love ABBA and if you love Erasure, then you will feel so much LOVE when you hear this music that you might explode from sheer joy. The best way to listen to Abba-esque is while driving a convertable on the interstate at 80 MPH, full blast (I have done this, it is extremely uplifting).Free Music Review: Wow and a half!

I "grew up" listening to Erasure, and I have been an ABBA fan for about three years. When I heard about this album, I could hardly believe it! I ordered it immediately, and I have been nothing but happy ever since. The only downside is that Erasure only did 4 songs. I would have been happy to hear even more!
