Free Music Review: Great Effort for the old guys
Hit: 4 Stars

Light at the End of the WOrld is a very, very admirable effort from the Erasure boys. It is very much in the vein of some of their earlier efforts and more upbeat and dancey than recent offerings from the kings (queens?) of europop.

THe single, I could Fall in Love is just stunning in its overproduced, electronic whirlwhind sound and feel. YOu can't sit still when it plays. Several other tracks have "potential hit" markend on them as well...Sunday Girl for instance.

If you loved older Erasure albums, but have been bored by the newer, softer sounds, this is your chance to have some fun with the boys Clarke and Bell once again.

Free Music Review: After 22 years still a delight
Hit: 4 Stars

Have Erasure passed their use by date? I don't think so. For someone who has enjoyed Vince and Andy's music sine first hearing Sometimes in 1985 I am hard pressed to say what if any is their best album to date. All I can say is if you are an Erasure fan then this album won't fail to please. A number of the reviewers have complained that Erasure have failed to move with the times but so what the sound of this album is what makes Erasure Erasure. A consistently strong album full of music that makes you happy. Though it has been marketed on the strength of the single I Could Fall in Love With You, Sucker for Love has to be the stand out track.

Free Music Review: Yes!
Hit: 4 Stars

I find it funny when someone comes into review a cd, perhaps after one listen and write up a slam dunk hate it critique. Admittingly, the first few times I listened to this new offering from Erasure, I had the same attitude as many reviewers...the same ol same ol. But upon many more listens, it all clicked and I'd have to say without a doubt, the BEST Erasure has offered since Chorus. It's truly Erasure back to it's old form, excellent catchy melodies that will have you singing in the shower each morning. Andy Bell is truly in top form both lyrically and vocally. Job well done guys.

Free Music Review: Not Bad , Could Be Better
Hit: 4 Stars

Erasure's recent offering is to be expected by the pioneer synth duo, nothing here stands out as fresh or innovative, yet their albums always feel like wearing your favorite pair of blue jeans. The lone stand out track has to be "Sunday Girl", this could have easily been a number one in the 80's or early 90's. If you are an Erasure junkie , then buy this album. If anyone has a chance to see them live I would suggest to see them in the True Colors tour with Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, The Gossip, and the Dresden Dolls.

Free Music Review: Best Erasure album in many years
Hit: 4 Stars

These songs really get stuck in your head, and many of them are upbeat - something I've been waiting for since Cowboy 10 years ago. Sunday Girl, I Could Fall In Love With You, Storm In A Teacup, Fly Away, and Glass Angel are my favorites so far.
