Free Music Notes for The Road to EscondidoFree Music Review: The Road to Escondido by J.J. Cale, Eric Clapton Hit: 5 Stars
What can you say!! E.C. with JJ Cale! Eric Clapton gets to fulfill a dream of having an album produced and authored by JJ Cale. E.C. has always done JJ's songs well, but never quite captured JJ's production style or feel. On this album the two collaborate to provide you with some of the best music the two have ever done. A must have for all!
Free Music Review: A "Slow Hand" don't mean he's old Hit: 5 Stars
J. J. Cale who is a long time musicians, "Musician" with his most talented alter ego, the most listened to and enjoyed guitarist in the last century and this one; bring absolutely soul deep rhythms to the listeners most inner feelings. Can't miss with this entire bag. Jazz, Blues, Rock, it's about everything for everybody.
Free Music Review: Two of a kind !! Hit: 5 Stars
An excellant CD from two masters. They compliment each other and seem to feed off each ones talents. I had to listen to it through a couple of times to really appreciate the quality of these sessions. Each time I listen to it, I come up with a new favorite. Not many songs to skip over on this one. A winner!!
Free Music Review: Cale and Clapton Collaboration Clicks Hit: 5 Stars
This is a stellar achievement for the two noted music icons. One would expect nothing but the best from these two giants of the American blues/rock scene and there is no dissapointment here. The entire disc is strong and provides steady entertainment, a highlighting of two great performers.
Free Music Review: An appropriate duo. Hit: 5 Stars
Cale is one of the major influences on the post-1970 Clapton Sound. Although he, (and BB King for that matter), are doing all right on their own, an EC collaboration is always a good kick start towards acquiring some new listeners. Hopefully this is a trend: How about Eric and Delaney?
