An excellant CD from two masters. They compliment each other and seem to feed off each ones talents. I had to listen to it through a couple of times to really appreciate the quality of these sessions. Each time I listen to it, I come up with a new favorite. Not many songs to skip over on this one. This is a stellar achievement for the two noted music icons. One would expect nothing but the best from these two giants of the American blues/rock scene and there is no dissapointment here. Cale is one of the major influences on the post-1970 Clapton Sound. Although he, (and BB King for that matter), are doing all right on their own, an EC collaboration is always a good kick start towards acquiring some new listeners. Hopefully this is a trend: How about Eric and Delaney?
