Free Music Review: NOT A GREATEST HITS ALBUM

This a great introduction to Eros, but it is not a greatest hits album. Typically a GH album takes the best songs from previous albums and puts them on one CD. Most of the Eros songs in this collection are re-recorded. So if you already have "Adesso Tu" on another CD this version is different. The same goes for most of the songs here. (I noticed that most of the songs from early on in his career are re-recorded versions.)
Regardless, it's a great collection. I like the alternate versions.

Excellent cd! Great voice and rhythm..... I ordered 2 more after hearing this one!
I heard Eros in Chile this winter hiking in Patagonia. We stopped to refuel and grab a coffee in a cafe (interestingly where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid laid low from their escapades in the southwest US..)
and this fabulous singer/music was on the house sound. The owner of the cafe brought the cd to me. I initially thought it was a South American singer, but Eros is Italian! Music has no boundaries. When I returned to the US one of the first things I did was order up Eros on Amazon!!

Greatest artist of all times.
I place him in the same raw with Elvis Presley and Mark Knopfler.
He makes me to love Italian language though I don't understand it.
