Free Music Review: Some Gems among the rough!
Hit: 3 Stars

Despite my marks for this CD (not single as advertised) I have lot of time for Eric Roberson. At the moment I'm going through the process of getting all his Cds. This, from what I can gather, his first CD, leaves me feeling a bit disappointed. It's not that the CD as a whole is awful. Trust me when I say I've heard much worse. It's that too these ears, there is a sameness about much of the material on offer. But there are a few gems here. 'Crazy', 'Miles Away', & the quite excellent(and my favorite track on offer here)'Women' with it's very honest lyrics. Like I have mentioned, the rest isn't awful: It just doesn't rise above the sub standard.

Free Music Review: Best Indie Artist Today
Hit: 5 Stars

Eric Roberson is the complete Artist. When you combine brillant song writing, lyrics, a great voice, and a down to earth personality that come through in the music you get ERRO. Every song is filled with emotion, and you believe the artist has gone through every thing he sings about. To believe in a song as opposed to just hearing a song is a rareity in today's industry. I think ERRO is successful because of his relationship to his fans. Erro can be seen hanging with his fans at any venue, so he knows what today's youth wants to hear, yet he has an Old School Soul sound, sort of like Alcia Keys without the overdramatic production.

Free Music Review: Another wonderful CD
Hit: 5 Stars

Eric Roberson is one of my new favorite singers and one of the artists no matter the price of the concert ticket or genre of music I'll support. Mr. Roberson's Esoteric CD is no different. What Is Love Made Of, New Born Child and Woman are all thought provking tracks however one of the real standout tracks is Funny Feelings. Funny Feelings was a song orignally sung by 112 on the 1998 Room 112 album written by Roberson. It's amazing to see how a composer can make music his own.
