The first time I heard this was during a snow storm in Northern Oklahoma of all places. There was very little color differentiation between land and sky. No breath of wind. No sound from any source. Total isolation as God spoke in contemporary terms through the Latin litergy. This music was the perfect medium for that particular moment in my life. I still have a hard time listening to this music with a dry eye. BUY THIS CD AND WORSHIP EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER WORSHIPPED BEFORE! The true celebration of the CD comes forth in the Credo movement of the Berliner Messe. There is joy in the composer's beliefs after all!
