Free Music Notes for The Ultimate CollectionFree Music Review: Mama I Love this CD Hit: 5 Stars
This is the Eurythmics Greatest Hits with two new tracks. The two new tracks are "Was It Just Another Love Affair" and "I've Got A Life". The Ultimate Collection opens with "I've Got A Life" then goes in chronological order closing with the other new song "Was it Just Another Love Affair". It has all the best hits we remember, love and sing along to. There isn't a bad song or "filler" on it making it a great purchase to add to your CD collection.
Free Music Review: ANNIE AND DAVE AT THEIR BEST Hit: 5 Stars
WHAT A GREAT CD!! ALL OF THE HITS AND TWO NEW SONGS, WHICH ARE SUPERB. ANNIE'S VOICE ON THE NEW TRACKS IS AMAZING - I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, SHE DOES HER BEST WORK WITH DAVE PRODUCING HER. I MEAN, DIVA WAS A CLASSIC, BUT MEDUSA AND BARE WERE JUST SO-SO. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE INCLUDED "SEXCRIME"AND A COUPLE SONGS FROM THE MUCH OVERLOOKED "WE TOO ARE ONE" CD, BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING ON A SINGLE DISC COLLECTION. BUY IT AND ENJOY.
Free Music Review: An important testament to 80's music Hit: 5 Stars
The Eurythmics were a real superstar band during the 1980's with their superb female lead vocalist Anie Lennox, with her rich melodic place, and earned their place in the annals of pop history.
This album showcases the best of their work including such fantastic hits as the hypnotic Love Is a Stranger, the melodic beat of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) and the vibey pop of Thorn in My Side.
an important testament to 80's music.
Free Music Review: Nice remastering, great new songs Hit: 5 Stars
The tracks sound great, although the selections aren't much different than the European release of the 1991 greatest hits package. The only disappointment is that "Sexcrime (1984)" is missing here. However, the new songs are brilliant, blending technology and soulfulness as well as the Eurythmics ever have. Hopefully a new album of new songs is in the works.
Free Music Review: An amazing CD compillation Hit: 5 Stars
The Eurythmics were one of the biggest names during the 1980's through early 90's. Although I was born after most of their hits were released, I absolutely love them and I love the 80's (Although I was born at the end of the decade), I think the 80's had some of the best songs ever made, and these polished, amazing hits will never grow tiring or old.
