Free Music Notes for Anywhere But Home (w/ bonus DVD)

Free Music Review: Yay for Evanescence!!! (No, I couldn't think of a better title...)
Hit: 5 Stars

To be honest, I bought Anywhere But Home for the bonus DVD. I expected the Evanescence music videos, which I had never seen, and I was not disappointed. The CD itself (and part of the DVD) is live concert footage from Paris. All the songs from Fallen are performed on live (with the sole exception of 'Hello'), and the band's songs 'Farther Away' and 'Breathe No More' are also performed live. There is a bonus studio track, 'Missing', which was cut at the last minute from Fallen. This track is beautiful and I love it to death.
I can understand why some people were disappointed that this is "only a live album", but the DVD is awesome. As I mentioned before, it shows the concert in Paris, the music videos, and it also has special features which include bloopers and interviews with the band members. (And Amy Lee making Jello shots, LOL.) It's worth the money and I'm glad I bought it.

Free Music Review: Excellent DVD; Low/Deep Voice Tone on CD and DVD
Hit: 5 Stars

I love the DVD that is in this package! I've watched it about 7 times. I also have seen Evanescense in concert and the DVD captures the style, energy, and performance techniques of Amy Lee and her group superbly. So if you can't see Evanscense in Concert, this DVD is a great substitute. HOWEVER, AMY LEE SINGS IN A LOWER/DEEPER TONE THAN USUAL IN SOME OF THE SONGS, ON THIS DVD, THAN WHAT SHE USES IN THE STUDIO RELEASE OF "FALLEN" AND OF WHAT I HEARD HER USE IN CONCERT. The included CD in the package is the sound track of the concert so Amy's voice is a lower, deeper tone than what she uses in the studio release of "Fallen" on some songs (particularly 'Going Under'). (NOTE: This DVD/CD was made before the release of "The Open Door" so you will not hear or see anything from "The Open Door"). I enjoy watching the DVD everytime I do, but Amy's voice is rather deep on some song tracks.

Free Music Review: Evanescence "Anywhere But Home" = Great DVD/CD Combo!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

The DVD contains 14 songs, filmed at a concert in Paris, France. Amy Lee (An Arkansas Native), is great, and so is her band. This is an excellent concert DVD. The line-up on this DVD/CD Combo include: Amy Lee on lead vocals, Rocky Gray on drums, John LeCompt on guitar, Terry Balsamo on guitar, and William Boyd on bass.

You get 14 songs as follows: "Haunted", "Going Under", "Taking over Me", "Everybody's Fool", "Thoughless", "My Last Breath", "Farther Away",
"Missing", "Breate no More", "My Immortal", "BRING ME TO LIFE" (a HUGE HIT FROM 2003), "Tourniquet", "Imaginary" and "Whisper".

You get extensive bonus material also, which includes the band "trashing" a hotel room. Plus, you bonus videos of some of their songs. Overall, it is a great concert DVD/CD Combo, well worth having. Thanks!!!!

Free Music Review: Beautifully Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

For a "live" performance, Amy Lee's vocals are just amazing. The lyrics are deep, the sound is heavy, and most importantly, the music is musical. So, amazing it's beautiful.

The DVD contains the live recording of her concert in Paris, France. Great venue. (I wonder if its the same venue that The Cranberries shot their Live Concert?!?!)

There are also copies of her 4 music videos.

The behind the scene's stuff is great. Most of the time when you look at the "behind the scene" stuff from other DVDs, its just boring and stupid. It's like watching home videos of people you don't know. BUT, this one is just hilarious! You also get a more candid interview of the band and look into their life on tour. Just watch it. You'll see what I mean.

Free Music Review: YOU FORGOT ME LONG AGO

First, I want to let you know that I enjoyed the dvd and the cd!!! For me "Missing" is the best! I just can't believe it's not one of their singles!

I love the new songs: Thoughtless, Missing, and Breathe No More!!

Amy Lee gave her best in the concert! Perfect vocals!! This is better than Fallen! It proves that Amy Lee can really sing!! Live is better!!

You should get "Anywhere But Home" if you're an evanescence fan! If you like Fallen, You would love this!! Oh before I forget listen to "Missing"!!! never skip it!!

Hater go away!!! Get something to do and stop bashing Amy Lee because no one really cares about what you think!! We love Evanescence and you can't do anything about it!!
