Free Music Notes for Let There Be BloodFree Music Review: blooded by 20year+ minus paul bayloff RIP Hit: 4 Stars
this gives justice to the old blooded by blood but another lesson in violence live gives just as much if not more.they should have done this with bayloff but other wise this is a great rerecorded testament to the fury of the original ablum with a couple of new twists for better or worse.rob duke has a fairly simular voice to bayloff better than sousa does but this will aaken a new bread of old school thrash fans, music is still weak today as in 92 but this will prove that old school was king and the new kids should look back in time for great thrash no matter the newer bands or cd released. buy or die and exodus kills posers dead!!!!
Free Music Review: Good but check out Another Lesson in Violence.... Hit: 4 Stars
If you are a big fan of the original but miss Baloff or if you want to hear a higher quality of production than the original, then check out Another Lesson in Violence which came out in 1997. It has the original lineup, was mixed by Andy Sneap, and is freakin live!!! There is only one song missing from Bonded (Metal Command) but it has a couple other classics in there. Having just listened to the new reworking, it seems pretty redundant when compared to the live one or the original. But still solid.
Free Music Review: bonded by insanity Hit: 3 Stars

Free Music Review: it's exodus but it's a serious disappointment Hit: 2 Stars
I have been listening to Exodus since Bonded By Blood first came out. It was totally different than anything from Testament, Metallica, Slayer or Anthrax. I saw Exodus on the Pleasures of the Flesh tour here in DC at the old 9:30 club and it was amazing. Exodus's career has had its ups and downs but sadly it hits another down. I was expecting so much more from this. It is good, but only good at best. The sound is done well, of course thanks to Andy Sneap, but that is the only high point. It appears that it was tracked to a horribly slow click track and sounds way slower than the original. The vocals are generic and the songs just lack the life and tenacity they had on the original recording. I have a lot of respect for Gary Holt because he has kept this band going through a world of adversity. But this is not even as good as "Shovel Headed Kill Machine". The last statement I'll make is Testament did a great job with "First Strike, Still Deadly" and that is what I was expecting from this release. And I was seriously disappointed. I support Exodus but I would prefer to have my money back.
