Totally awesome punk pop/rock!I couldn't believe it when I found out these guys were a solo project of Thousand Foot Krutch!
I bought this CD for the song "Crazy Mary", but ended up loving every minute of it.
Really great stuff - if you like Relient K, you'll like FM Static. I'd recommend it to anyone!

WHEN I FIRST HEARD OF FM STATIC I WAS DISSAPOINTED . THEN A FEW DAYS GONE BY AND I STARTED LIKING IT. NOW ITS ONE OF MY FAV CDSWHEN I HEARD THE LEAD SINGER &DRUMMER FROM TFK WAS DOING A SOLO PROJECT I WAS EXCITED CAUSE TFK IS MY FAV GROUP &SO IS FM STATIC .
IF U DON'T HAVE THIS CD U SHOULD BUY IT U WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED , I WASN'T.
Free Music Review: A worthwhile purchase!

I was taking a quick look through Majesty's music selection one day, and I saw this CD. Right on the front it said that it had members from Thousand Foot Krutch and recommended if you like Relient K or MxPx. So I listened for a little and decided to buy the CD. It is amazing! Now, if you're a Thousand Foot Krutch fan, don't expect the music to sound anything alike. TFK is a rapcore sound, FM Static is a pop/punk/rock band. Sounds like MxPx and the Clarks rolled into one band. Now I'm not really sure why I bought it in a Christian bookstore; this band fits right in with the pseudo-Christian bands under the Tooth and Nail label (MxPx, Element 101, Slick Shoes, and the Juliana Theory also fit into this category). The members are Christian, but the lyrics are mainly about girls and love. I have two complaints which puts "What Have You Been Waiting For?" down to four stars: 1) The lyrics are anything but deep, and 2) It's very short. I think two more tracks would've rounded it out nicely. That said, this is still a very worthwhile purchase.Free Music Review: A Work of art in pop-rock?

That's right! FM Static. The new comers. They sound like a mix of Good Charlotte, Relient K, and Mest. These guys are very talented, but the problem is that this CD is way to short. I thought that pop-rock had bit the dust, but no here it is, and these guys new how to do it. This may actually be power-pop, and to stretch it just a tad, I'll say pop-punk perhaps. It's insightful and it's being real with the listener so could this qualify as pop-punk? Well give these guys a listen, and don't worry these guys won't let you down.Free Music Review: Attention all pop punkers...

From the people who brought you watashi wa, the halo friendslies, and the Juliana Theory comes FM static, four rockers from Canada. At first glance the band seems pretty average... guys tressed out in skater attire singing in the semi-whiney style spawned by blink 182. That, however, is only first glance. Once one allows themselves within earshot of any of 'what are you waiting for's eleven tracks, one will not only be pleasantly surprised but knocked back by the band's infectious, catchy style which is consistent throughout the album. The lyrics of 'definitely Maybe' and 'three days later' are strikingly clever and (nearly) touching to boot. Power punk to rival that of The All-American Rejects and Fall Out boy. Excellent effort fellas.
