Free Music Review: Pass on The Rising Tied, This is Fort Minor!

The Rising Tied was decent at best. Very catchy tunes and pretty good lyrical work, but there are weak spots. For one, Shinoda is definitely the weakest link in the lyrical department and sometimes the songs are a little to polished in spots. But this mixtape is another beast entirely. Trust me, this mixtape will make you forget about The Rising Tied entirely. The production is rediculous as Shinoda is a master at putting rock elements in a hip hop context. Even his flow seems better in this offering, as it seems he's more comfortable when he doesn't have to stick to a specific message. Apathy, Lupe Fiasco, Celph Titled, SOB, and many others are all there to bring up the rear with their lyrical talents. Trust me, any fan of hip hop or music in general NEEDS to have this mixtape in their collection. You will not regret it.
