Free Music Notes for Infinity on HighFree Music Review: Fall Out Boy just rules Hit: 5 Stars
Ok this is just plain awesome. Who doesn't love Fall Out Boy? Pete Wentz to Patrick Stump this band is amazing. There have been rumors about Ashley Simpson breaking up the band and making their music worse. If you listen to this CD SO NOT TRUE! Ok this song has 14 songs and i reccomend 1,2,3,6,7,8,10,13, and 14. I loved all of them but those songs were the best! They have lyrics that are amazing and the vibe you get when you listen to them is amazing. Thnks Fr Th Mmrs is a great song.... It makes you want to get up and sing along and best of all dance! Ok we all know that Fall Out Boy has other CD's but this is the best one yet. From Under the Cork Tree was another good one to. Fall Out Boy is great to chill to because it's upbeat and pretty relaxing for some songs but at the same time loud and awesome! I suggest this cd to anyone. If you like this cd you will also like Good Charolotte, Finger Eleven (Paralyzer), Matchbox Twenty (How Far We've Come) and Blue October (calling you and hate me). After the name of the band i gave you some awesome songs by them. The hits to. Trust me you will love this. This is a music span for 12-18+! Everyone can listen to it! Though I doubt 7 year olds will they are to busy listening to Hannah Montana! Which I do not reccomend if you are over 13....
Free Music Review: Well Worth the Wait Hit: 5 Stars
I got this Cd the day it came put, patiently waited to put in the Cd player at home (since my car doesn't have one), and was completely blown away. The Intro by Jay-Z followed by the brutal chugging, double bass drum riff caught me completely off guard. It baffles me that people say the Fall Out Boy sold out. THis album is the opposite of selling out, If they really wanted to sell records they could have just recorded another F.U.C.T. and would have sold just as well, it's clear to me that these guys want to be hear for the long haul, which is why they keep tweaking and experimenting with their sound. I'll admit that I didn't like all the songs right away, but that's the thing with music it grows on you. IF you play the cd first time and expect to love it then don't be suprised if your dissappointed. They got rid of their sugar-poppyt choruses and replaced them with substance, it may take you a while to really get into it, but if you give this Cd a chance you will love it, I've listened to it 6 times in aproximatly 24 hours and each time I like it a little more.
Free Music Review: WILL BE HARD TO BEAT FOR ALBUM OF THE YEAR Hit: 5 Stars
Sure it's only early February but I can't imagine a much better album than this coming out this year. I don't know if Fall Out Boy has come to the mainstream of if the mainstream has come to Fall Out Boy but this is a perfectly crafted pop album for the year 2007. Starting out strongly with "Thriller"'s buzzsaw guitars and heavy metal drums, "Infinity On High" catches fire early and never stop burning. Engineered with crystal clarity and produced with a firm hand, Paul Wentz and the boys deliver the musical goods drawing from too many sources to mention and synthesizing them into a sound that is truly Fall Out Boy. There is not a moment on this CD that feels false or doesn't live up to the standards of the rest of the CD. Every song is a classic in the making, from the smash hit "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" to my other favorites "I'm Like A Lawyer...", "THNKS Fr THE MMRS", "Don't You Know Who I Think I Am" and "You're Crashing But You're No Wave."
Go out and buy this CD.
Free Music Review: Wow. Hit: 5 Stars
Have you ever put a song on, and hadn't sat down by the time it started, and hadn't sat down by the time it ended, because you were just so shocked at how good it was? That happened to me, but for the album, straightthrough. I didn't realize it at the time, but during each song I'd been holding my breath and didn't let it out, in fear that I'd miss the chorus or some hidden lyric.
That was the first time I heard Infinity on High, and now, 20 listens later, I'm still stunned by it (I've learned to breathe, though).
If you love the cunning and sly lyrics of FOB's previous songs/records, you'll be blown away by this one. They're symbolic, hilaroius, emotional, straight-forward and just flat out incredible. The catchy guitar riffs don't make it any worse. By their 4th album, FOB has learned when to play and when not to play their instruments, and the result is, in my opinion, the top album so far in 2007.
In a nutshell, Infinity on High is definitely worth the [...].
Free Music Review: This album got me into Fall Out Boy! Hit: 5 Stars
Why don't people like this album? Don't get me wrong I heard Sugar, we're going down and Dance, Dance, Dance on the radio...but I never really liked Fall Out Boy. Then this gem came out...and I can't stop listening to it. I even bought 2 Fall Out Boy shirts and a ringtone all from this album cause I can't get enough. You might not be able to understand what the heck the singer is saying...but half the fun is making up your own lyrics. The beat is what I love. The songs are so catchy.
Bang the Doldrums
Thanks for the Memories
This ain't a scene
Carpal Tunnel of Love
The take over, the Breaks over
These are the best ones in my opinion. They are on repeat in their own playlist on my ipod...my friends beg me to burn them a copy of the cd. ANd then they hum the songs all day.
WHat the heck is fake punk anyways? Who is to say what way punk should be...I dont care what genre it is...its catchy and enjoyable...thats all that matters.
