Free Music Review: FALL OUT BOY IS A MUST HAVE ALBUM!!
Hit: 5 Stars

To begin with, Fall Out Boy is my ultimate favorite band, so when I purchased this cd, I instantly knew that I was going to fall in love with this "emo-punk" album. Not only is Fall Out Boy from the same town as me, Chicago, but their "emotinal punk" lyrics rock!! Ever since I bought this cd, which was about six months ago, I have been listening to it every day. All the songs are full of energy due to the band's amazing voices and talent. Every day when I listen to the songs, they put me in a better mood. The lyrics, sound, guitar parts, and vocals are incredible as well. They all get your attention the second you listen to it, especially the opener song "Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today." There are so many lyrics from these songs that will get stuck in your head and you will find yourself repeating them through out the day, such as "Where is your boy tonight..," "I am such a sucker...," "She took me down and said, boys like you are overrated...," and many others. Every single song is catchy, original, fresh, and addicting, which in these days, is difficult to find. Even if you're not an alternative/pop pnk/rock fan, I guarntee that you fall in love with this cd the second you listen to it, and I know for a fact that I will"take this to my grave" and YOU will "Take This To Your Grave" as well!
All the songs are fantastic, but these are my favorite:
1- Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today
3- Grand Theft Autumn
4- Saturday
7- Chicago Is So Two Years Ago
9- Grenade Jumper
10- Calm Before The Storm
12- The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes
*You must purchase this cd as soon as possible. I promise you won't regret it. If you don't you're missing out on a fantastic cd!!!*

Free Music Review: The Album You've Been Looking For...
Hit: 5 Stars

I've never written a review for Amazon, but I HAD to recommend this album...

Some things that stand out about Fall Out Boy are:

1. The singer has a very unique voice(a good thing, especially in this genre), and can actually sing, and his voice isn't whiny which is pretty common of the lead singers of groups like this.

2. The music is complex when it needs to be, complements the singing and tunes perfectly...when I like a song, usually it's the singing or the actual music that stands out more than the other, but on "Take This to Your Grave" they meld and neither takes precedent over the other, they just work.

3. The melodies are amazing. About half of the songs have incredible melodies that you've never heard anything close to before, but they don't overuse through the duration of the song(One example being Jason Mraz' "The Remedy", good song but he kills it because he sings that chorus like 15 times).

4. It's really really rare for a CD to have more than maybe 2-3 good songs if you're lucky, but this CD has at LEAST 6 excellent songs, which, most importantly, all sound different from each other.

5. Their music has broad appeal, which is getting harder and harder to do these days, you don't have to be a fan of rock or pop-punk to enjoy this album.

My Favorite Tracks:

1- Tell that Mick He Just Made My List of Things To Do Today
3- Grand Theft Autumn
7- Chicago Is So 2 Years Ago
9- Grenade Jumper
10- Calm Before the Storm
12- The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes

Free Music Review: Don't listen to the naysayers...
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is incredible. People are complaining about it not being original? NO ONE is really that original anymore. You have to have a certain type of sound if you're going to be in that genre. The last real "original" thing I heard was RATM, 311, or Incubus and those are totally different genres. The lyrics on this album are great. Very catchy yet very deep and not like most emo bands that use lines like "my girlfriends hates me, i want to kill myself." As I was reading some of the other posts I couldn't believe that people said these guys are horrible live. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They're the best live band I've ever seen and I've been to over 50 concerts ranging from Incubus to 311 to 12 stones and A TON of punk/hardcore/emo concerts including (finch, the used, senses fail, the bled, bayside, armor for sleep, taking back sunday, park, name taken, punchline, emanuel, silverstein, green day, hidden in plain view, saosin, midtown, the academy is, dynamite boy, coheed and cambria, my chemical romance, thrice, and the list goes on...) I can honestly say they put on the best show I've ever seen and they're definately up against a lot of stiff competition. I HATE most pop-punk especially NFG, simple plan, GC, etc. but Fall Out Boy definately makes me think differently. If anyone is single handedly saving pop-punk it's FOB. If you want a great album that you will listen to over and over and over again then get this one, you won't regret it.

Free Music Review: please shut up...
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok...so there are three sides to this wonderful story...
A)OMG!! I really <3 Fall Out Boyz and lyk the lead singer...Pete...is ssoooo cutte...
B)Fall Out Boy sucks man...go listen to like Metallica and Led Zeppelin...and Aerosmith (ahem im talking about that review somewhere before me)...cuz i am sooo into music and my musical taste trumps yours so bad.
C)Shut up and listen to them...they are a very good band considering the **** i hear

I choose "C"...this is an excellent album...my friend gave it to me because of the song "The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes" (my best friend was being a complete ____ to say the least) and it made me feel so much better...the lyrics are well written...some random...but all in all...perfect to listen to in you want to dance or do something besides
"listen to 'real' music" like i aformentioned...(that guy was a real moron" all he listed was some historic bands just to make himself look like he actually knew what the hell he was talking about)
And please...that review about how "OMGZZZZ...Fall out boy is sooo cutttee...im actually 18"

WHAT A RETARD...i em lyk actually 14, yo, and i can write a way more decent review than you...go back to school you retard...you make Fall Out Boy look bad...

besides all that dissing...(i had to do it) buy the album...you will never regret it.

Free Music Review: 100% pure emo heaven all the way through
Hit: 5 Stars

Caught video of "Dead on Arrival" one day on "SCUZZ" T.V and was totally blown away by it.Purchased album and was quite frankly even more amazed at the sheer quality of F.O.B's music/power.Every track is top notch Emo (with great lyrical content as well as musicianship). They remind me in some ways of another superb band Taking Back Sunday, both in style/quality and their ability not to do "filler" tracks-every song has it's own distinguishing quality.
Having said that, it has several stand out tracks (all being 11 out of 10 instead of 10 !);
1--Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today--
Opening track which blasts out and immediately grabs you round the throat with it's drive and sheer power.

2--Dead On Arrival--current single, which again demonstrates the raw energy and musical talent this band has--should be in charts if they were not dominated by watered down pop/boy bands.

6--Sending Postcards From A Plane Crash (Wish You Were Here)--
Another colossal track--kicks ass from start to finish

Every single track on here has so much class that i'm amazed that these boys aren't absolutely cosmic already. My advice is just by this CD NOW and hopefully get this band the recognition that they merit.I cannot wait until their next release, and hopefully a U.K tour also.
