Free Music Review: Light that smoke that one for almost giving up on fall out boy
Hit: 5 Stars

Well, this is a great album period. I really enjoyed it and picked it up without knowing anything about fall out boy. It is a solid pop punk album with some great stuff. Tell that Mick he just made my list of things to do today is an awesome way to start off the album, and its their strongest song in my opinion. I am very dissapointed with FUTCT. It is a horrible mainstream mtv overrated album. If only they could have stayed on a small label and put out a cd like this. They had a great fan base for this album, there was no need to sign on Island def jam. Oh well. Im not gonna preach to you, this is an awesome album, and its funny to hear people ask who the band is. When i say fall out boy they say "no, they only have one cd with sugar were going down" LOL!!! Well buy this one.

Free Music Review: Very Good
Hit: 5 Stars

I saw Fallout Boy when I went to the Mest and Matchbook concert in Utah. Fallout Boy was the opening band and to my surprise they were very good. I then bought the cd the next day and have been listening to it almost every day since the day I bought it. Every song is good and very catchy. Patricks voice is very clear in all the songs and their guitar riffs and drum beats make the music even more fun to listen to. If you like Taking Back Sunday, NFG, and Saves the Day, you will most likely take a liking to Fall out boy. They are on tour right now with armor for sleep and name taken in the "Believers never die tour" Go check them out and see if you enjoy them as much as I do. Their second cd/dvd and their eps from before theire debut are also very good.

i liked sugar we're going down, so i bought from under the cork tree and loved that album. wasn't sure if id like this one but i bought it anyway. honestly, since ive gotten this one i haven't gone back to from under the cork tree very much at all. when i first heard this one, i said it wasn't as good, but after listening to both albums extensively, i can honestly say take this to your grave is my favorite of the two.

my favorite two songs on here are calm before the storm (my overall favorite fall out boy song) and the patron saint of liars and fakes. some other good ones on here are tell that mick, grand theft autumn, and chicago is so two years ago. but there aren't any songs on here that i skip through, it really is a good album overall.

Free Music Review: Rougher than F.U.T.C.T.(From Under The Cork Tree)
Hit: 5 Stars

I have been following Fallout Boy for years..Starting out in Arlington Heights(near my hometown of chicago), FOB has made a mainstream name for them selves with FUTCT. If what u want is not mainstream crap, but catchy riffs, tight melodies, creative drum patterns, crafty lyrics and a strong set of pipes then u found it with Take This To Your Grave. "Saturday" is the crowd sing-along favorite along with "Chicago Is So Two Years Ago". Look for the acoustic versions of those two records, they're very good. Check out the drum patterns on "Reinventing The Wheel To Run Myself Over" along with the very simple and catchy chorus. This album is the CD to get if u are a lover of Fallout boy's older material and sick of their "TRL friendly" songs from FUTCT!!!

Free Music Review: *laughs* and you thought all pop-punk sucks.
Hit: 5 Stars

if you're a pop-punk fan you'll like this, and if you're not, you should be surprised. i'm not a huge fan of that genre, but Fall Out Boy is amazing. Patrick's vocals are amazing. he has a strong voice, and he shows it. great musicianship too. you can tell that these guys know how to play. oh and did i mention they have great lyrics? Pete Wentz, bassist/songwriter, knows how to write. these are not your average cliched emo lyrics. they are smart. you can tell they spent time writing these songs. buy this album, these guys deserve as much respect as possible.
