I was a bit aprehensive when purchasing this c.d. because a friend told me it was good, but they underestimated it!
Fall Out Boy's "Take This To Your Grave" has all the quick paced music, humorously bitter lyrics, and perfectly timed screamo than you can shake a stick at. My three favorite songs on the c.d. are "Tell Mick He Just Made My List...", "Grand Theft Autum", and "Sending Postcards From A Plane Crash" because they're face paced, in your face lyrics, catchy riffs, and they make you wanna jump up and down! This band has quickly shot to the top of my favorite band list not only cause they're AMAZING live, but because their music is really fresh and raw. Buy this c.d. you won't be dissapointed!

I have been listening to this band before this cd . I have checked out their lyrics (which you can at plyrics.com) and i am impressed . They are not your run of the mill mtv punk revival band and they have never stated to be ''emo'' .If you want to educate yourself , Please go to allmusic.com and learn that bands are not really one genre anyway .
I am really tired of the anti everything kids . This is getting really pathetic . Youre NOT core cause you can make fun of every band that gains a good number of fans . You are not core cause you can search and find a band online that nobody knows . Get real .. Get over it .
Please check this band out and determine this on your own ..

i know a lot of people think that fob and bands that sound like them (for instance Panic! at the disco) will go out of style soon and they will die and be forgotten... but that is so not the that is why every great band needs an even better fan base.... even if fob does stop making records in a few years they will still be making great music in the hearts of the anyway... this cd rocks!!!!!!!! all of their music rocks...... and as a member of the fob street team i leave you with these words; don't forget to buy the limited editon black clouds and underdogs tour edition of 'from under the cork tree' (out on tuesday march 14th).... it is gonna rock Music Review: Fall Out Boy has done it! They made music interesting again!Hit: 5 Stars I've known about fall out boy for about two years now. They are an amazing band and hope to finally catch their live show this summer. This album is unique because it blends traces of the hardcore scene with that of the more melodic "pop-punk" shall we say. This cd hasn't come out of cd player for a long time and it seems like I keep rediscovering FOB a lot. Some of the tracks that really stand out on this cd are Saturday, Homesick at Space Camp, Calm Before the Storm, and the Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes. Overall, it's really good stuff and I recommend this cd to anyone who likes rock and rock that is under the radar for the moment cause FOB is gonna explode!

I went to a New Found Glory/Good Charlotte/Less Than Jake concert last April (2003), and recieved a promo CD for Less Than Jakes "Anthem", and for Fall Out Boys "Take This To Your Grave." New Found is my favorite band, yet I still love Less Than Jake. When I got home I found myself repeating "Saturday" and "Dead On Arival" over and over. 5/06/2003, the first available date of this CD, I went out and bought it. I have not spent a day driving in my car or at home without listening constantly to Fall Out Boy. It is a solid CD with not one bad song. I even made a copy so Id have one in my room and one in my car. A definite purchase.
