Free Music Notes for Business Up Front/Party In The Back

Free Music Review: bb tx
Hit: 5 Stars

this is the first band since Korn that sounded completely set apart from everyone else.
their style and sound is off the chain! and unlike Korn, it's kid friendly.
what a find, these guys rock.

Free Music Review: CRANK EM' UP!
Hit: 5 Stars

Try this: put this CD in your car, and CRANK IT UP! This is the type of CD you actually want you non-Christian friends to hear. This music invites you to loosen up, and lose your mind in dancing. The beats and raps are nothing short of incredible. And these guys are not afraid to be different, just look at their names! Now, this music might stun you at first, but after a few listens you will be singing the praises to Krunk Rock. ROCK ON!

This album is not for serious people, it's pure party, and it never lets up. Favorites are many, and letdowns are few to none.

By the way, get the special edition, it's the icing on this delicious cake.

Free Music Review: "Wanna Talk About God Philosophy?"
Hit: 2 Stars

I first started listening to FF5 and I thought to myself, "Hey, this is pretty good!", so I found more of their songs to listen to. They have a great sound that definitely kept me listening.

Then I started listening to the lyrics.

I have never felt so retarded from listening to a song before. It felt like the absence of any intelligent lyrics was actually draining the brain cells from my head and making me stupid just by listening to it.

They're either attempting to be funny and failing miserably, they're trying to be humorously ironic and also failing miserably, or whoever writes the lyrics is a complete moron. I'm guessing it's the moron one.

I also don't know why they call themselves a Christian band. There's only one or two references to anything Christian, one of which is the hilariously bad "Wanna talk about God philosophy?"

The horrible and immature lyrics ruin what was something that had so much potential.

Free Music Review: Dumb and Dumberer
Hit: 1 Stars

First, the music sounds great with screaming lyrics, screaming guitars, catchy hooks, fat bass lines and slick production.

Then you listen to the lyrics.

It is too bad that this band and album are being passed as Christian music, because it definitely is not. Everything is either, "I'm so talented", "hey girl this", "hey girl that", "shake your tail feather", "party all night", or some variant thereof. The focus of this album is completely party it up, go to a club, hit the dance floor, dance with a cute girl, which is definitely not a positive witness, especially to those of us who have come out of the clubbing scene and the drinking, drugs, sex, and general ungodliness that go along with it.

The song "Love Addict" might be the closest thing to a recognizable, biblically sound song with positive lyrics, but it is even doubtful that the kind of love FF5 sing about is biblical love, since they promote unforgivness, retribution, and bitterness in the songs "X-Girlfriend" and "Drama Queen".

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, most people assume it is a duck. This album looks like the world and sounds like the world, so do yourself a favor and don't buy it if you are looking for any kind of Christian theme at all.

In the liner notes, the band thanks Jesus Christ. Do us a favor guys, thank Jesus Christ by your actions, not in your liner notes.

Free Music Review: no business, all party
Hit: 4 Stars

I love this CD! One of the most fun discs I have ever heard. Great to work out to, great to drive to, great for a pick-me-up. I only gave it a 4 because it never goes very deep, though there are a few songs that have a somewhat deeper meaning if you read into them. I hope they make more CD's; they certainly have talent.
