Free Music Notes for Greatest Hits: Walking To New OrleansFree Music Review: Greatest Hits Hit: 4 Stars
I have been a fan of the great Fats Domino for many years and my only reservation in purchasing his and other albums has been the quality of the recordings in the time Fats was playing. I find that some of the old recordings are so notoriously bad that despite the great music I can't bare to listen to them. This was a consideration when I bought this album but I am delighted to say that the remastering has been excellent. The music is all there without the whistles, hums and clicks and does not sound artificial. I love it.

Free Music Review: 1950's Rock 'n Roll Hit: 4 Stars
Very interesting c.d. from "The Fat Man". Lots of great songs in the style he created. The saxophones sound good in these songs. On some songs it is difficult to hear the piano in the recording. You can't be sad when listening to this style of music. The lyrics will make you smile. If you love Fats, pick up a copy of the book "Blue Monday" by Rick Coleman. It is an interesting biography on Fats Domino.
Free Music Review: Some really good songs Hit: 4 Stars
I have some Fats Domino 45's and had not seen any cd's in the stores. I am very happy to have found his cd's at Amazon. This cd has some songs I have not heard, but it also has some that I really like.
Free Music Review: Lots to like about this CD Hit: 4 Stars
If you were a teen in the late '50s/early /60s, the songs on this CD will be very familiar to you. There is some filler, but this is still the best collection of Fats Domino's hits I've seen.
Free Music Review: Walking to New Orleans Hit: 4 Stars
Exceeded my expectation. Promptly delivered and my son and I are enjoying the music.
