Free Music Notes for The ReminderFree Music Review: New Artist for Me Hit: 5 Stars
I am always looking for new. creative music. I discovered Feist while looking over new releases on Amazon.
This refreshing album is both subtle and creative! The voice is so unusual and distinct and the arrangements are fresh. This is an album for people who do not need smashing, heavy sound.
Since I know nothing of the history of this artist, I am a new fan and will purchase more of Feist's work.
Just a note. I purchased "Promise" from Amazon. I noticed that there was some very disturbing skipping on a few tracks of the album. I notified Amazon and they allowed me to return the disk and get a free replacement. Kudos to Amazon!

Free Music Review: A great album! Hit: 5 Stars
Leslie Feist is a young singer-songwriter from Nova Scotia, Canada. The Reminder is her third solo album, coming out in 2007. Even if you never heard her on the radio, you have probably heard her work - the song 1234 was used in an Apple iPod Nano commercial, and it brought her to the attention of a large audience. Heck, I was so taken with the song, after hearing the commercial, that I just had to find out who this Leslie Feist was.
Well, the other songs on the album live up to quality of 1234. I love 1234, but I also love Sealion and the soulful So Sorry. This is a great album, one that I am really glad to have gotten. If you like great music, then you will love The Reminder. I give it my highest recommendations!
Free Music Review: Be Charged In 13 Tracks Or Less Hit: 5 Stars
I'm becoming more of an Indie fan all the time. It's well written and well produced albums such as The Reminder that progress that new musical affair.
The tracks jump off The Remainder with punchy, happy harmony and rythym, memorable hooks and seering clear vocals. Several of them have already appeared in television sitcoms and commercials for technical gadgets.
Some music can truly change your mood. Real music makes your hair stand on end and gives you the feeling of an electrical charge. I am charged by Feist. I wouldn't have said that five years ago, but I would be remiss to give this collection of happiness anything less than my highest recommendation.
Free Music Review: Amazing compositions, orchestration and production Hit: 5 Stars
Listening to Feist can be that refreshing jolt one needs to remember that new music is indeed headed in the right direction.
When i first heard Feist's debut, Let it Die i thought it was pleasant but nothing significant. However, since then, upon countless listens to the record, i've come to realize that Feist is something more.
Feist's second, The Reminder is similar. It's like a chocolate covered tootsie-roll pop, sweet at the beginning but with each lick you get a bit more taste of the delicate soft center you're working towards. For Feist, the center is elegant yet casual, sharp yet well-rounded, and gets better with each lick.
Free Music Review: New Talent Hit: 5 Stars
Feist is a new singer/songwriter whose works don't easily fit any musical category. The tunes are catchy and make you want to play them over and over, but there is a deeper story in the lyrics of the joys and anguish of love and relationships, separation and reconnection. The song structures are each new creations that don't seem to follow any current fad. Her voice and guitar riffs are crisp and clear. Once you listen to her you keep coming back to listen again picking some musical or lyrical nuance you missed before, such as the subtle sound of a car door closing and shoes clicking down a sidewalk.
