Free Music Notes for The DutchessFree Music Review: a great mix Hit: 5 Stars
I have loved Fergie thru the last two BEP albums and was thrilled when she release a solo album. The great mix of songs on this album makes me want to go dancing. I love the beat to all the songs and the lyrics are catchy. I listened to the CD serveral times already and look forward to many hours of listening pleasure in the future. Her song Clumsy is by far the best song I have heard in a long time. It has made my list of all time favorite songs already, ranking up there with: hot in herre, you're still the one, everything I do (I do for you), and Sweet home alabama. at least that is my opinion.
Free Music Review: Great songs from a diverse, talented vocalist Hit: 5 Stars
Fergie is awesome on her first solo project! Starting out energetically on "Fergalicious" and appropriately peaking on the polished final track "Finally," Fergie shows a remarkable amount of diversity in her song choices and styles of performances. Pretty much consistently, though, she remains youthful, sassy, fresh and catchy. Ferige's best on "Clumsy" (2), "Voodoo Doll" (6), "Glamorous" (7), "Big Girls Don't Cry" (10) and especially the great piano ballad "Finally" the final track. Ironically, "London Bridge" is one of the worst songs on the album. I can't wait to hear from Fergie again!
Free Music Review: Very good.. Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is very good. The tracks show a lot of versitility and talent on Fergie's part. I was pleasantly surprised! It's not often you get a CD and can listen to every song and not want to skip ahead, but I can with this. Finally is very good.
Fergie has an amazing voice, and she comes across and fun and also vulnerable and sweet. It is a very personal look at he life and she really does a wonderful job.
Vodoo doll and Losing My ground are amazing too! I think this CD is one of the best out there.
Free Music Review: SURPRISED!! Hit: 5 Stars
i have never been a big fan of the black eyed peas' but i came across this cd and found them to be very "solid" and enjoyable....i found it much more enjoyable than anything lately from all the other female "so called divas" much more fun than the new releases from Christina Aguerila,Jessica Simpson and anything new from the failing and falling janet jackson,,,fergie seems to be having fun with the music,,but restraining enough not to come across as being corny,,,all in all a very well surprsingly good cd!!!
Free Music Review: As long as we're all 16 here... Hit: 5 Stars
I too like music such as the red hot chili peppers and sublime but i also love, love, lovvvvvve fergie's new cd. i agree if you dont appreciate music for what it is then dont listen to it! But the fact of the matter is "fergalicious" and "london bridges" are the two tracks most supported by the radio but in my opinon are not even the "best" on this album. I doubt you've even taken the time to listen to all of the tracks.
