Free Music Review: 3.5/5 Album that was too rushed

Fiend can be easily consider one of the best rappers off of the No Limit era. If anyone who has notice throughout most of the albums from No Limit from late 1997-early 1999, Fiend has contributed verses and chorus throughout all those albums. Fiend was easily the Lil Wayne of No Limit for those 2 years. His first album Theres one In Every Family from spring of 1998 really showed that Fiend could make a standard no limit album but make it show an reflection on him as a person and artist, something that has been lacking in the average no limit album.
Now a little over a year later Fiend comes back with his new album Street Life. This is one of the last albums left that Beats By the Pound produced before they went awol. That being said it really shows how rushed this project was produced. the Production is on point through the album but some of the songs barely clock in over 3 minutes. Songs like The Rock Show, Mr. Whomp Whomp, and Trip to London are some of the strongest songs but are only about two verses. Talk it How I bring and Waiting on God are also some strong tracks but overall it seems as though Fiend wanted to put this out as fast as he could. This is one of the better albums from no limit and again a reflection of Fiend and not Master P but its ashame the potential Fiend could of had with this album is cut too short.
