Free Music Notes for Them VS. You VS. MeFree Music Review: Just awesome! Hit: 5 StarsJust a great album, the songs have meaning behind them and the songs range from some slow songs that calm you down to others that just want you to go hit the dance floor. I like all kinds of music, but I have to say that Finger Eleven has that good times feeling that other bands just don't have! Definitely pick it up!
Free Music Review: "Paralyzed" by this stellar album! Hit: 5 Stars From the upbeat quality of Paralyzer inviting the listener to dance or head-bang along, to the reflective, "free floating" grace of Window Song, finally to the musical and emotional shifts arising from Easy Life, Finger Eleven's "Them Vs. You Vs. Me" consumes the listener and transforms them into part of the melody.
The beginning lyrics of So-So Suicide accurately depict the nature of this song. It creates a "universe waiting to explode." Between the emphasis on electric guitar, the heavy beat, and Scott Anderson's rough and slightly throaty vocals, a peace transforms anger into strength.
I'll Keep Your Memory Vague carries the listener away into a broken romance. It's nostalgic, melancholy, and yet hopeful lyrics pierce through the soft, partially acoustic musical style.
Overall, "Them Vs. You Vs. Me" flows from one song to the next through powerful vocals and a mix of harder and softer instrumental emphasis, to give the listener a sense of inner balance, strength, and romance with, if not anyone, the music itself.
Free Music Review: Finger Eleven Rocks Out Hit: 4 StarsFinger Eleven has always been a great Canadian band, and Them Vs You Vs Me is a great example of their work. The songs all have a different sound to them from Sense of a Spark to Easy Life to Paralyzer. This is a great CD and I hope they keep coming.
Free Music Review: Fantastico Hit: 5 StarsIf anybody who's into rock music is ever looking for a band to keep you on your toes, this is the band. I've been a fan for 10 years now, and no album has ever sounded like any of their previous albums. This disc is fantastic with such a variety of styles, as are the previous releases, even back to the Rainbow Butt Monkey days.
Free Music Review: Finger Eleven Hit: 5 StarsI thouroughly enjoyed this CD. Its a little differant than their first CD so you might want to check the sample bits, even thought they're grainy. Dispite that I loved the songs and the CD is a good mix of punk rock. Its more for the Not so hardcore rockers in the world. And maybe even for the pop/rock fans.
