'Firewind' is truly a beyond AMAZING heavy metal band! The music is very structured, yet progressive, with great chord progressions and musical articulation. I hear slight elements of Dio, Sabbath, Queensryche, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Rising Force, Tool, etc., but the final product stands on it's own in terms of originality. Every musician in this band is top notch, and as talented and professional as they come. Apollo Papathanasio is an AMAZING hard rock vocalist, with 'fist clenching' grit and passion that defines the best in the genre. Ditto Petros Christo (bass) and Mark Cross (drums). Then there's the beyond amazing young and ultra talented Gus G. (guitars) who is perhaps the fastest rising star on the international hard rock/metal scene! Once in a while, 'the planets and stars are aligned' for glory, and 'Firewind' is a prime example of greatness! Don't miss this, and their previous effort called 'Allegiance'!!!
