Free Music Notes for The Battle For EverythingFree Music Review: The best album that will ever reach your ears Hit: 5 Stars
The Battle for Everything, featuring the smash hit 100 Years by Five for Fighting is most definitely one of the songs closest to my heart, and to the hearts of so many other people. Five for Fighting has extreme talent, unnoticable to some unobservant persons, but I assure you that if you listen hard enough, the voice of God can be heard. The song depicts life, and opens to door to those who ponder the meaning of life. I know I have found the meaning, and I only hope music lovers everywhere will support this album and find their own road to discovery.
Free Music Review: Awesome Album! Hit: 5 Stars
I must say that I feel compelled to write a review of this album! This is an amazing album! The lyrics are thought-provoking, and the music is very passionate!
I have been listening to this album for just over 6 months now, and every time I listen to it I discover another nuance either in the music or in the lyrics; it sounds fresh each and every time!
I love each and every song in this album. I can only think of one other album where I loved all the songs - U2's Joshua Tree!
My favorite? "100 Years," of course!
Free Music Review: The Battle for Everything is excellent! Hit: 5 Stars
The new CD, Battle for Everything by Five for Fighting, is a refreshing collection of songs, with creative lyrics and wonderful melodies. I'm a big fan of Jackson Browne. FFF reminds of a contemporary sounding JB. My favorite songs are "100 Years" and "Maybe I". I bought the CD after only hearing "100 Years". It's rare these days to get great music and lyrics together. Plus, I really admire singer/songwriters. I recommend this CD (and band) to everyone from 15 to 50 years old. Just a great piece of work!
Free Music Review: A lyrical work of art. Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is a great complement to the earlier "America Town" cd. The Battle for Everything is a little more laidback than the first FFF cd. The song writting is still outstanding and the band plays like they are meant to be a band, each complementing the other. This cd is recorded very well with a nice clean mix from the recording engineer. Overall, I think I still like the first album better but, there is not a bad song on this one and it's easy to listen to anywhere, anytime. That fact alone makes this CD a great buy.
Free Music Review: beautiful, wonderful, extraordinary Hit: 5 Stars
I love it! I have a few artists I put in my personal list of "favorites" and will listen to from now until eternity and I include Five For Fighting in my list. I have listened to this cd over and over from the first day I purchased it and love it more every time I play it. The voice of John is beautiful, well rounded, and unique. He has a knack of getting the highs and lows and sounding perfect. Kudos to him and the rest of the band and hopefully there will be plenty where this came from.
