insight into the stages involved to take a primed canvas towards becoming a masterpiece: from Lindseys' industrial edge + Stevies' tapestries unravelling + Christines' liquid allegory = an incredible blend of textures > it took 25 years but like every found work of art, this was worth the wait ... the only negative note: Stevies missing 'Angel' ... I would love to have heard her original template.

Free Music Review: Buckingham is a Genius

This album is a masterpiece, it's almost a Lindsay Buckingham solo album in all but name. The public never really "got it" apart from Stevies "Sara", "Think About Me" and "Tusk". I think it's way over peoples heads, I have a lot of respect for Buckingham because he experimented and moved forward here, instead of delivering what most of the people wanted, a "Rumours Part 2". He is the Brian Wilson of our generation.

Man, I HATE THIS BAND, but this is really a great record. If you don't like Fleetwood Mac, but are in the mood for something arty and chilled out, this may very well catch you off guard. Some of the bands best songs in a casual atmosphere. I bought the vinyl for 99 cents and it grew on me until I shelled out for the double disc. The 2nd disc with all the bonus stuff is full of good things.Free Music Review: can you say: "creative peak"?

_tusk_ is fleetwood mac's _white album_, and that pretty much says it all. this was lindsey buckingham's project, and his tendency for weirdness is exactly what this band needed. interestingly, the album follows a kind of alternating weird-song-easy-song format that somehow makes the easy songs weird and the weird songs even weirder. great piece of work, here. criminally overlooked.Free Music Review: Simply amazing!

Finally, TUSK the way it was meant to be presented on CD.FULL version of Sara - not the single version like on the previous CD version.
Also of note is the Sara outtake at around 9 minutes long!
Great outtakes indeed. Neat to hear Lindsey's demos.
My favorite Fleetwood Mac album gets the royal treatment.
