Free Music Review: Eclectic "folk"

Overall a good CD with a nice variety. Only downer for me though is that the "Banana Boat Song", "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"; and "Goodnite Irene" are not my idea of folk music and just didn't seem to "fit" with the other songs on the CD.

Some have been forgotten, some were reviled by purists at the time of their release and some can still be heard on oldies stations (or around campfires) to this day. If these tracks don't put a smile on your face, you must have been suckled by a lemon.
