Free Music Review: My favorite soundtrack of all time

If you ask me, a soundtrack can't get any better than the Footloose soundtrack. I like 80's music the best and this soundtrack is jammed full of a lot of my favorite songs of all time such as "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Hurt So Good," and "Footloose." These days, most soundtracks aren't good at all, most of them might have one or two good songs and that's about it. Every song from start to finish is great on this album. All the songs are catchy and will take you back to the 80's when music was the best ever and when it actually meant something. If you like 80's music or perfect soundtracks, I recommend getting the Footloose soundtrack more than any other soundtrack that's ever been made. It deserves an infinity number of stars.

Recently, a local beauty pageant I went to used Kenny Loggins' Footloose song as their theme for this year. This makes this soundtrack come full circle a good 20 years later! Most of the songs still hold up to today! The four hits of Loggins, Bonnie Tyler's tough rocker, Deniece Williams' best '80s hit, and Shalamar's danceable hit are strong pop records! Even Loggins' other song "I'm Free" is one of the best songs by him that should have been a hit. It rocks with attitude, the swagger of '80s music. It set the tone for superstar artist-driven soundtrack albums that still continues to today, rather than the typical musical scores that dominated much of an album before. Fun, bounceable, danceable, lots of energy, doesn't sound dated at all 2 decaded later!!!!Free Music Review: The soundtrack of 1984!

When Footloose came out in 1984, it was an instant hit. Everybody I knew raced out to see it, and a lot of the tunes from it became hits. Well, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the release of the movie, this CD was released with all of the tunes digitally remastered! In fact, as a bonus, this CD has four tracks that were not on the original album.
OK, what can I say? This CD isn't just the soundtrack of the movie Footloose, it's almost a soundtrack of 1984! Among its great tunes are Footloose, Let's Hear It For The Boy, and a tune I really love, Holding Out For A Hero. Yep, I love this CD. If you are into 1980s music, then this is a great album to get!

I am a 13-year-old girl who is really into the new music scene, but this must be my favorite CD in the world. My mom bought this tape in the mid 80's when I was really little and constantly played it in the car. When I was 5, I knew practically every word to all of the songs. Every song on this CD is great, and "Footloose", "Holding Out For a Hero", and "Let's Hear It For The Boy" will get you pumped for anything and make you feel good. This Cd is just full of fun music. I must say, I really dont like 80's music, but this album is just something special.
