This is a great CD. After the last few purchases of CD I can't stand, this one is a winner. The songs are great and the artists all bring a unique take to their songs - some covers, some unique. For parents who grew up with the Muppets, you'll recognize a few songs - Sarah McLaughlin's take on "Rainbow Connection" is beautiful. I find myself turning this on even when the kids aren't around. I can say that about very few kids CDs. Oh, and the kids like it too. :) A worthwhile purchase.Free Music Review: AWESOME CD!!

I don't have kids and I still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this CD!! I am a 4th grade teacher and thought the kids might like to listen to some music while drawing or doing craft activities. They DO love it. I find them dancing in place while standing and painting. I also find myself listening to the CD when there are no kids around. Sarah McLaughlin's "Rainbow Connection" is great...."Mananana" is better. The "La-La-La" song is the best!!!!!! I can't wait to have kids so I can play it for them.Free Music Review: The BEST cd we own!!

We have *many* kids cd's (I have 3 boys under the age of 7) and this is by far our favorite! I can't imagine how anyone could give this a bad review. My favorite is The Rainbow Connection--the most beautiful version of it I have ever heard--it almost brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. You know a children's cd is good when you listen to it even when the kids aren't in the car with you! My boys love the La La La song and also #7. My 8 month old adores this CD! She starts bopping her head to the music and smiling as soon as she hears it. Her 2 year old playmates also enjoy it. The best part is that I really like some of the songs too. And my extended family that have listened all comment on what a nice CD it is. The harmonies are great in the Wonderwheel song. No cheesey kids singing on it...think Hootie and the Blowfish and Sarah McClauglin. I highly recommend it as money well spent.Free Music Review: Great for parents and kids!

I bought this CD actually before I became a father because of Cake's Mahna Mahna and Sarah McLachlan's Rainbow Connection. Yes, you don't have to have kids to enjoy this CD.
Today as a parent, I really enjoy listening to this CD. The whole song features songs that are just plain fun, catchy, and entertaining. I never listened to The Hoppity Song before, but now I find myself singing "hop hop hippity hop" sometimes.
