Free Music Notes for For the KidsFree Music Review: Enjoyable CD Hit: 5 Stars
I was hesitant to purchase the CD at first based on other reviews. but I went ahead and bought it exclusively because it had the Sarah McLachlin "The Rainbow Connection". Most of the other songs are by artists I did not recognize, but my wife and I found we really liked most of the rest of the CD. "The Hoppity Song" is a simple and catchy song that we find ourselves humming during the day.
Free Music Review: Not just for kids! Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this album for our soon to be born child, but I find that I listen to it a lot! I even brought it to work! It's fun to listen to some of my favorite artists (and some new favorites too)unwind and have fun. Most of them are parents and many wrote original songs inspired by their kids. All in all it's a great album for kids, but adults will love it too, even if they don't have kids.
Free Music Review: Everybody wins!! Hit: 5 Stars
We have had this CD in our car for over a year now -- and we still love it! I'm a diehard BNL fan, so that's why we bought it -- but there are so many more gems! "The Hoppity Song" was an instant fave with my now 2-year old boy -- lots of dancing -- and that's how my son learned how to say "Hi"! Also just LOVE Glen Phillips' "Have A Little Fun with Me" -- just makes me smile!
Free Music Review: Excellent CD for parents AND kids Hit: 5 Stars
A few years after my daughter was born I got tired of listening to "kiddie" music. This CD is an awesome bridge between adult and children's music. I will listen to it when my kids are not around. I also used several songs from this CD when making a DVD slideshow with our family pictures.
I added the second one to my wish list and I am hoping it is just as good.
Free Music Review: Hop Hop Hurray from my Kids Hit: 5 Stars
This is just the thing for you and your kids -- short drive, long haul, you've got all the right grooves with this CD. My kids (6 and 3-year olds) just LOVE IT. We just listened to the whole darn thang from Atlanta to B-ham -- we (the mom and dad) memorized most of the tunes (my son already had them down) and we all bopped around the hi-way together. It's all good.
