Free Music Notes for The Rising Tied AlbumFree Music Review: great but the drums are all the same Hit: 3 StarsI've always listened to Linking Park, and I also Love hip hop. When The Collision Course came out, I was really excited about it, and when I Heard that Jay-Z was to be the executive producer on the Rising Tied, I Thought it would become a classic.
But it isn't hard to tell that Jay-Z doesn't have anything to do with the musical part, I just think his name is good for selling.
I think the drums on all the tracks are the same, which makes the overall view quite annoying. The Lyrics are ok, and there are fine guest performances by Common, John Legend, Lupe Fiasco + more. but again, all the songs are build up on the some kind of drums.
The Standout tracks are "Believe Me", this is a really great track, it is one of the first singles. "Remember The Name" is also one of the 1st singles, it is also nice. "High Road" feat. John Legend is also a great track.
But overall, the album is "ruined" by the drums.
