This is a great cd for many reasons: 1) the cast is great, Valarie pettiford and Jane Lanier are great as the star dancers/singers, and the ensemble is good too 2) This cd has a ton of music, 21 songs and about 80 minutes of fosse hits 3)The songs are great! Buy the cd for the songs you know, and fall in love with the ones you don't know. 4) This cd, with great songs and cool pictures inside, is as close as you can get without being able to catch a live performance. 5) the new orchestrations sparkleFree Music Review: BABY, ITS THE GREATEST!!! 10 STARS, 15 STARS, 20 STARS!!!!

This is the best BROADWAY musical I've ever heard in my entire life!! Its so amazing and it'll dazzle you 'till the end!! FOSSE is the greatest and it uses BOB FOSSE'S AWESOME WORK!! Come on just buy the CD you'll love it!! I've seen it and I know its awesome god buy it!! I know and I was lucky enough to hear the whole soundtrack at a radio station (that plays all bordway) that I head up!! OH YEAH IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN GET ME THE PLACE TO FIND THE MUSICAL SCORE WITH THE WORDS TO THIS PIECE??? If you're like me, and you love Bob Fosse's work, then you will love this soundtrack. If you're not familiar with Fosse, and the music of his work, you will enjoy the music still. It's packed with exciting songs, that make you want to get up and dance along. The one fall back is the fact that some numbers from the show are left out, I've seen the show twice and I can see that about three of the original numbers are missing from the soundtrack. But other than that one slight flaw, it's AMAZING! I'm going to go listen to it now!Free Music Review: IF YOU DON"T LIKE THIS RECORDING, GET YOUR BRAIN CHECKED!

This is one of the best cast recordings I have heard in years. Valarie Pettiford shines in Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries and Bye Bye Blackbird. Jane Lanier is wonderful in Steam Heat and Nowadays. Scott Wise is excellent with Razzle Dazzle. Crunchy Granola Suite is one of the best songs on the CD. You must get this tape. But I recommend to first go see the show then get the recording because once you've seen the show then you listen to the CD all of the dances will come back in your mind. The show is the best thing to come to broadway besides chicago and ragtime. It will win all the Tony Awards. I've seen it twice thats how good it is. Is saw it in Boston (previews) and Broadway (second performance at the Broadhurst Theatre). A sure hit. The best two songs are Bye Bye Blackbird and Hey Big Spender. You'll love it. BYE IT NOW.
