I am a little biased, because this is probably my favorite Original Broadway Cast recording.
Excellent recording, Excellent musicians, Excellent musical arrangements, and Excellent singers/performers.
I did not see this show on Broadway, but when listening to this CD I feel as if I'm seeing it. By the way, get the DVD too, it's well worth it.
This is as classy as it gets!!!

I was jealous enough to receive an advance copy of this amazing album and can't believe that I LOVE it!! I can simply assure you that it will win merely every award in the season that is upcoming. It is excellent, simply excellent. The magical part was the best. And I also thoroughly enjoyed the jungle scene mixed with the other stuff. I highly reccomend this album for you to buy. It is a compilation of all of Bob Fosse's greatest hits, including Valerie Pettiford singing "Bye Bye Blackbird." i enjoy this cd, as i enjoy this show, and i look forward to seeing a local tour of it this december. the songs themselves are positively wonderful, and the orchestrations are fabulous. there's so much energy on this cd, and all in such an artsy form that i doubt many people could actually appreciate the talent of this show...but i love it.Free Music Review: Awesome!!!

This is one of the best musical soundtracks I have ever listened to. Now, I grew up in a household with two music teachers..heard over and over again every soundtrack that was introduced to the public...Fosse outshines them all...have seen the show two times..seeing it again in February...can't wait. EXCELLENT!!!
