Free Music Review: Fountains of Great and Catchy Songs!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Track Highlights:

1.) Utopia Parkway - This track is so incredibly great and catchy that I can't even find words to describe it. You'll just love it and it will be stuck in your head the first time you hear it. It has great beats, creative lyrics, and fantastic vocals.

2.) Red Dragon Tattoo - This song is just as catchy as the album's title track and it's a bit reminiscent on their previous album's track: "Radiation Vibe." Even better, Fountains of Wayne give their shout out to KORN as they sing, "Now I look a little more like that guy from KORN."

3.) Denise - Like the first two track on this album, this one is unutterable catchy. The band gives their shout out to Puff Daddy on this track. I can't picture a normal person that would sing along to this track.

4.) Hat and Feet - This song sounds extremely sad as they sing, "I'm just a hat and feet, that's all that's left of me, a spot on the sidewalk, a mark on the street." I think there is a secret drug related message in this song, but I'll let you be the judge.

5.) Valley of Malls - If I had a list of songs on this album that start from my favorite to least favorite, this song would be last. I think this song was extremely hyped up and it's not even great compared to the other tracks on this disc.

6.) Troubled Times - The flow of this song is just great and this song alone is more bittersweet than "Valley of Malls." Their voices are very melodic in this song and the vocals flow great over the music.

7.) Go, Hippie - This song is just like that of the first 3 tracks: it is extremely catchy. You can't resist singing along to the "Go, Hippie!!!" part as well as the chorus.

8.) A Fine Day For Parade - Yet another song that is more bittersweet than "Valley of Malls." You can really feel sadness in this song and it is easy to relate to the track.

9.) Amity Gardens - This track is less catchy than the others but still catchy: possibly because it has a slower tempo. Nonetheless, this track is still a pretty good song.

10.) Laser Show - This song is semi-cheesy but it's still pretty fun to listen to and the vocals on this track are more aggressive than that of any other.

11.) Lost in Space - This song is okay; it's nothing special. In fact, the way the vocals are arranged doesn't sound like it blends well with the music.

12.) Prom Theme - This is a very bittersweet/romantic song and it does have a prom vibe to it.

13.) It Must be Summer - Well the title speaks for itself: this is a very summery song. This is yet another catchy track that has a Beach Boys kind of feel to it.

14.) Senator's Daughter - This song is very acoustic sounding. This is a decent, slow-paced song. They could have ended the album with a better song.

Out of all of Fountains of Wayne's albums, I'd have to say that this one is the catchiest; however, all of them are equally as great and memorable. This is what I call talent and real music. I definitely recommend this album to anybody who bought "Welcome Interstate Managers" and couldn't get enough of Fountains of Wayne. All of their albums tie into each other and are all enjoyable to listen to. Check this out!
