"Happy Music" certainly describes this CD. I had this originally as a cassette tape; when I switched to CD, this was one of the albums that I knew I had to have in the newer format as well. Frank Mills only had one recognized tune that hit the top of the charts ("Music Box Dancer"). But his work includes many other enjoyable songs that present Ragtime in a variety of different contexts. I find this is great music for simply relaxing, and even for playing when I am going to sleep. Unlike some other later anthologies that display suspect sound quality, this CD is crystal clear and true to the original recordings. If you like light, enjoyable piano music, I strongly recommend this CD.
