Not Quite As Good As Eamon But It's Good
Free Music Review: Really exes? Hit: 4 Stars
I think everyone must know the 'story' of Frankee & Eamon now. They're the star-crossed ex-lovers, who have been dominating the charts recently, with their respective singles. Both then went ahead and released albums, and although this album does sound a little rushed, it's still a good album.Unlike Eamon, Frankee is not trying to be the next Whitney/Mariah/Britney/Christina etc. She's got her own sound, and her own style. And is pretty straight-talking too! Her album tracklisting also has a certain thing about it, as it's split up into chapters, rather than just a list of songs. Obviously, these songs are The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. (The Good: "I Do Me"; "How You Do"; "In Love With Me"; "I'm Leaving" and "Gotta Man" - The Bad: "Who The Hell Are You"; "Him"; and "I Told You So" - The Ugly: "Hell No"; "Don't Be Mad" and "F.U Right Back") The album also features her video to "FU Right Back", which basically features Frankee with her girlfriends, looking through old photos/cards etc that feature her ex, who is the subject of the song. Frankee says she dated Eamon when she was 15, and he claims to have never met her. Considering both songs feature the same tune and very similar lyrics, it's a huge publicity stunt, by the management. Eamon was at #1 in the UK for four weeks, before Frankee came along, and knocked him off - but she only stayed at #1 for 3 weeks. There are some terrific songs in this, but unlike Eamon's album, it's more melancholy, and it's perfect for when you've split up with your boyfriend. When you've finished crying through sad songs, this is the album to get you back on the dating scene, and stick two fingers up to your ex. My favourite song? It would have to be "I'm Leaving" in The Good section of the album. It's a very sad song. But of course, "FU Right Back" has to be one of my favourite songs too, cos it's got terrific lyrics (and don't blame me if Amazon censors most of the following!): "See I don't know why you're crying like a b*tch Talking s**t like a snitch Why'd you write a song about me Cause if you didn't really care You wouldn't want to share Letting everyone know just how you feel F**k what I did. It was your fault somehow F**k the presents I threw all that s**t out F**k all this crying. It don't mean jack Well guess what yo F**k you right back You thought you could Really make me moan I had better s*x all alone I had to turn to your friend Now you want me to come back You must be smoking crack I'm going elsewhere and that's a fact F**k all those nights I moaned real loud F**k it I faked it aren't you proud F**k all those days. You thought you broke my back Well guess what yo Your s*x was wack Oh Oh Uh Huh yeah (4x) You question did I care Maybe I would have If you would of went down there Now it's over but I do admit I'm glad I didn't catch your crabs I can't sweat that cause I got to go F**k what I did. It was your fault somehow F**k the presents I threw all that s**t out F**k all this crying. It don't mean jack Well guess what yo F**k you right back" Now if that isn't girl power, I don't know what is! Buy this album. It's great.
Free Music Review: An Enjoyable Album - Nothing Less Hit: 4 Stars
Ok despite what everyone else is saying about this album, it's a fun, enjoyable album. I enjoy listening to this album. I'm listening to it right now. It's easy to see that most of the critics have only heard the Eamon diss and haven't even heard her album. Her album is full of pop - rnb party songs and even though her lyrics could be better, it still SOUNDS good. It's enjoyable and that's all that counts. I'm not worried about the Eamon n Frankee rivals... I'm just a music fan so you should definately get the CD to hear a good time and hear a girl speak her mind. 4 Stars!!!!!
Free Music Review: tight C.D! Hit: 4 Stars
This C.D is hot. Don't judge the album by f.u.r.b. This is an pop/Rn'B C.D. Best tracks on the C.D are told u so, don't be mad, gotta man. You should buy this C.D if you are a fan of dream. At all costs STAY AWAY from Eamon's C.D, da boy can't sing to save his life.
