I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and 4 Seasons, but yet my music library did not
include them....don't know why I waited so long!! The Anthology was a good choice as
it includes their greatest songs plus other fine melodic selections. I felt I got the
most for my 'buck'. I especially like the Amazon feature whereby one can preview the
musical selections prior to purchase. It makes decision making so much easier. Am
very happy with the Amazon service...will probably be making another purchase very
shortly.

I just picked up a copy of the 4 Seasons' "Anthology" and it's the most comprehensive collection of the group's hits. Included are a number of "almost" hits and favorites from the Seasons. The "plus" is the addition of a fabulous set of liner notes, or should I say mini-novel, that gives the listener a great look at the group from inception through today. If you buy only one 4 Season's compilation, this is the one you gotta get! I've got more than 100 4 Season's records, tapes and CDs and this is the best.Free Music Review: 95.9% COMPLETE!! Excellent!

Sure it's missing the pre-4 Seasons stuff and it's missing "Make Believe it's the first time" on Tapestry records but other than that, this collection is FLAWLESS! The quality is superb (It has to be, it's a RHINO release)and the presentation is mind-blowing! 52 total tracks here spanning from the Vee-Jay days to Philips and from the later years on Smash, Warner/Curb, Private Stock and RSO. As a matter of fact, you can say this is a more complete version of Private Stock's "Story" LP. Excellent!Free Music Review: Jersey Boys

I always enjoyed their music (my generation). The songs are universal and catching. My daughters had heard and enjoyed many before but really had no idea who did them originally. I took two of my daughters to the Broadway play and bought them the CD for Christmas. The music is fun. They enjoyed the Broadway musical (2005 Tony). It was great fun. When I was growing up, the Four Seasons was one of my favorite muscial groups. Every song they sang meant something at different times of my life. Just hearing the songs now triggers those fond memories and that's the main reason I wanted to have this product. The quality of the sound and all their hits are included. It truly does bring tears to my eyes at times when I stroll down memory lane listening to this set of CDs. It's a terrific collection and I will treasure it and enjoy it every time I play it.
