The fabulously successful musical "Jersey Boys" transported us 35 years back in time. We immediately bought the real group's CD from Amazon and we play it three times a day. It invigorates us. They are even grander than we remembered them in our youth. Knowing the backstory from the play, we appreciate the music all the more. The 'originals' are usually the best. . . but if you really want to enjoy the 4 Seasons, pick-up a copy of the show - The Jersey Boys - for a great musical experience with a 'touch' of the 4 Seasons' history!
As far as this Very Best of. . . goes, you either like the 'originals' or you don't waste your money on Sixties 'Kitsch'.

Man oh man, You just can't beat these 4 guys!! I don't think I own a cd that I play so much & still enjoy so much!! This to me is a staple for any 60's music fan and Frankies' disco hits from the 70's are fantastic too. I could go on and on, but I'll spare you. I saw Frankie Valli year ago at a fun raiser. Frankie and the group were fantastic. I had the opportunity to meet him, he was very nice (even had our picture taken with him). This CD is aptly named the Very Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It contains their very best hits from the 60's and 70's. The titles include "Sherry", "Dawn", "Rag Doll", "My Eyes Adored You", "December 1963", and "Grease" just to name a few. In all there are 20 songs on this CD and it is highly recommended!
