Free Music Notes for BarcelonaFree Music Review: Miss you Freddie Hit: 5 Stars
I ordered this cd because I am a huge fan of Freddie's but also of opera and I was not aware that Freddie had recorded such an albumn until recently. Loved it. He and Montserrat collaborated beautifully. Freddie was magical and so talented. His lyrics and his range of talent are like no other. I miss him so much. It makes me sad that he is no longer here to do what he did best. MUSIC. But I am happy that he left such a wonderful legacy for us to enjoy. God bless you Freddie.
Free Music Review: Simply the best! Hit: 5 Stars
Being a huge Queen fan, I have tried to purchase all their CD's, including the solo albums. I was a little hesitant to buy this CD, mainly because I am not a big fan of opera. This CD is outstanding! The music is wonderful and the vocals superb. The title trac, along with "LaJaponaise", "Guide Me Home", and "How Can I Go On" are all favorites. I would recommend this CD to anyone, but fans of Queen and especially Freddie Mercury will be thrilled.
Free Music Review: The Best Music I've Ever Heard or Ever Will Hit: 5 Stars
This album brings an incredible perfection to our ears, it delights our senses, and satisfies our cravings for real music. It is a shame that this duet just recorded one album, because they could have gone so much further together in the music business. The best songs are Guide Me Home and How Can I Go On (but you have to listen to them in that order, because the second song complements the first one). This is my favorite album of all times.
Free Music Review: Highly enjoyable Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this CD with some trepidation; I love the later Queen works, but I had never heard any of these tracks anywhere.Well, it's one of my favorite CDs. It's enjoyable, and makes me feel good just hearing it. I admire Freddie for not only concieving of it, but having the balls to record and release it. I only wish he had lived longer. Not so that he could do *this* again, but so that we would hear what he would have moved on to.
Free Music Review: Opera Vs. Queen! Hit: 5 Stars
This is an odd CD in that it seems to bring true opera style together with the style of Queen yet rarely at the same time. It is all beautiful music as you would expect from Freddy Mercury but it may be too operatic for some. But I enjoy the diversity. In some places, a very operatic moment catapults itself into a Queenish frenzy - I love it! I love that Freddy imagined this project in the first place. A true collectable!
